While visiting friends and family over the Thanksgiving holiday, my wife and I stopped into Kent Island Jewelry to look around. With Christmas near, my wife said she wanted to get me a ring. Being a small and local shop, we weren't sure how good the selection would be. But, boy were we surprised. The cases were full of beautiful pieces!

The owner (Patty) showed us many nice rings but could see that I wasn't connecting with anything shown. She asked me what was I looking for as she could bring in just about anything I wanted. I said I wanted something different, something unique, something one of a kind. She said "Oh, you should look in our Estate Cases....let me show you"..... BINGO!! There it was! A five diamond square in white gold.

She said "peoples tastes change, but high quality and classics never go out of style" and she has these cases for just these special one of kind pieces. SOLD, I said. So, she measured my finger to have it properly sized and said it would be ready before I left the area...It was perfect.

I can’t say enough about Patti and her staff. My husband and I have been customers for many years, have gotten many pieces repaired, had many watch batteries replaced, and purchased some beautiful items. The prices for all services have been more than reasonable each time. The staff are always very knowledgeable, helpful, and repairs were always fast and expertly done. I was out of town recently when my watch battery died and the jeweler I went to said the watch was broken and would cost several hundred dollars to repair and then he offered to buy it from me. Well, that was suspicious so I took it in to KI Jewelry for a second opinion and they said it wasn’t broken and simply needed a battery which they replaced on the spot for 18 dollars. The main point I would like to make is they are honest with a capital H and deal with integrity. I won’t go anywhere else for my future jewelry needs. I have been going to Kent Island Jewelry for years.The jewelry they carry is beautiful and I feel like a kid in a candy shop every time I go in, sometimes just to look around to add things to my wish list. Besides our wedding bands coming from them and having fixes done to jewelry and watches, I bought a beautiful pair of earrings a few years ago, but I got bored with them and had them turned into a ring but got bored again and had them turned into this beautiful necklace I just picked up today, which i absolutely love! Thanks again Mary Jo for updates and for answering my obsessive text at 10pm, Mike for picking the perfect chain and making this for me and, as always, Patty for you being so wonderful.
