Laundry Depot — Local services in Kent

My name is Daniel, and today is Monday the 1st of August 2021 and if the owner of the store or the manager checks the front cámaras just after 6:40pm a woman with a sunflower shirt that’s my girlfriend and we go wash at that store all the time cuz it’s 5 minutes from our house, she went to get a small cart for the laundry when the attendant that was working told her that the last wash was at 6:30!! My girlfriend replied saying it’s at 7 then the attendant replied again with an attitude saying well that’s in 10 minutes, my girlfriend replied saying when did you change the schedule on the last wash cuz I looked at the website, the attendant replied saying how my girlfriend was there too late, so we didn’t do our laundry cuz some person who is not the owner doesn’t want people washing after 6:30 on Mondays and there you have it follks, I know the owner of that store I seen her many times she is such a wonderful and hard working person and she deserves to know about this things I hope the attendant of today gets told to steak to the schedule that...

With our home laundry room being remodeled, I had to run to a laundromat. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly hello and help finding me the right machine for my small load. Upon settling in, I realized that in my haste I’d forgotten detergent. The woman quickly offered me some free of charge. I offered to pay or run to the grocery store next door, but she insisted. Wow! Not only that, but I couldn’t help but overhear her conversation with an adjacent customer, where she gently guided him to a larger machine that could accommodate his blankets, and offered to pay the difference (they cost a bit more, but blankets can break a regular machine), since he was concerned about the extra cost. Im usually not the complaining type you can ask my bf and I try to be understanding since I have 10 years of customer service under my belt, so I understand how customers can get but the attendant (I think shes a teenager) Shes very rude with patrons. This is unfortunately is not the first time I have witnessed her being out right disrespectful with customers. I know its just a laundry mat, but you still deal with customers and how you talk to them and treat them still matters. Even if they have done nothing to you or said nothing to you.
