After reading multiple reviews, I decided to take my chances and order some food from this restaurant. I am going to agree with several reviews that state that there are obviously some cost-cutting practices going on at this restaurant. I ordered sesame chicken, cashew chicken lunch specials and an order of egg rolls.
Sesame Chicken - This was tasty and while there was definitely more breading than chicken, compared to the other items I thought it was actually ok. There was zero spice to this dish which made it taste a little off from what I was expecting, but I still liked it.
Cashew Chicken - One of the photos shows this dish. It was mostly carrots and celery. There were a few very small pieces of chicken (had I not made the order myself, I would have questioned what the protein was) and not ONE cashew in my cashew chicken. I chose the crab rangoons to go with my lunch. These had about 1/2 tsp of filling of some white substance that had a different taste.
Egg Rolls - My other photo shows this. There were only a few strands of cabbage in these egg rolls, nothing else.
*Summary - I didn't think anything tasted bad. The portions sizes were good. The lack of substance to all of the dishes were very disappointing. Because of this I won't be eating from here again and don't...

Read moreLet's start with the positive: the service was good. The atmosphere was standard for a Chinese restaurant. The rest was disappointing. The chef/owner has decided to use the smallest amount of the cheapest meat possible. The Mongolian beef has maybe 2 oz of beef (all gristle) and the rest was a pile of onion and stuff to fluff up the plate. The general tso was all breading and almost unidentifiable as having chicken in it. I left several peices behind because there was no meat at all. The fried pork rice had maybe 20 very tiny bits of pork and the plated 4 slices of BBQ pork were cold and tasted like some kind of vegetables (that they were likely stored on in the refrigerator).
The egg drop soup was the only food up to standard (even the Fortune Cookies were cheap and sad).
When we left I made a joke that the Tacoma $1 cheap Chinese food restaurants (where I once got food poisoning, but had many other good meals) will be a more likely choice than returning here. The food was good and priced Right, even with the risk of a little illness.
Considering the whole experience cost $50 for a meal that may have cost $5 to make and serve, this review was as kind...
