I was a frequent visitor of this cafe for about three years now, it has some of my favorite food and drinks however Iâve consistently experienced terrible service. Despite this I would come back because itâs close by good and cute. Today I came in, and Iâll say i had a bit of a snappy attitude with another customer however this is because I was sitting at a free table as I have a heart disorder that makes it difficult to stand for long periods of time, and a child and her father came over to tell me I had to move as they were given that table- the table had five chairs my party had four, theirs had two. Whatever I got up and ordered, they asked if we could wait for a table, again I cannot stand and wait so I said just give it to us for takeout, while sitting at the bar I watched three people- four if you count my party member who ordered after me- receive their food and drinks, I got my drink after about 10min and waiting another 20min before asking where my food was, I wasnât answered just apologized too and ten minutes after that I received the food. I told them this wasnât acceptable service and the owner chewed me out and denyed skipping my order by saying âyouâve had an attitude since you got in hereâ and when I brought up that one of my party members had been watching her cooks skip our ticket she again just told me ânoâ when my ticket was still on the line behind her. They were so incredibly rude and inconsiderate, they have no idea how to run this cafe and they donât care their patrons.

Also, like I said in my original post, my other family members have experienced the same treatment. So I donât appreciate having my experience downplayed. âBeing a Latina owned business & upbringing minorities and pocâ is a nothing statement with no relevance to my experience and your consistent lack of service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: They consistently have the worst customer service, which is why I rarely order from here. Thereâs a small counter for pick-ups and I am always ignored when I walk up, but today felt extra intentional. So I walk to the counter and of course theyâre ignoring me as if Iâm not there, but mind you all the workers are making eye contact with me as they pass by. After 10min, I ask one of them about my order. She asks for my name, I tell her, then she proceeds to ignore me and resumes making beverages??? Didnât even check around or let someone else know. I ask another worker and she pulls my order out from behind the counter. So my order was already finished by the time I walked in, and was just sitting, getting cold. I believe they only treat black customers this way. My sister and cousin have had the exact same experience.    Read moreThis place was one of my favorites first 3 years after opening and I was a frequent customers along with my friends but then from 2024 it went downhill with the food, and especially with the service and staff. Today was my breaking point when I placed a pick up order, wasnât ready on time (half an hour) but I even waited another 20 minutes until I asked Again about my coffee another employee who wasnât quite profesional in her response and told me that I should inform her at the register about my pickup. And after I told her that I mentioned to a lady at the pickup station who already gave me my food and she said that my coffee is in the making, how on Earth am I supposed to know who is the responsible one that day for my pickup or why there is a lack of communication between staff? Also while waiting I observed how employees were passing the phone between them because they donât want to talk or donât know the language, I am an immigrant myself but also a client who now gets it why phones here arenât answered or hang ups happen. And to all the excuses I heard today from staff to me or other customers (next time come at the register full of people, next time etc etc ) I wasnât the only who said âthere will not be another next timeâ.
