Let's start by saying, I am a compulsive shopper and deal with every store in the local area as well as all online retail stores. I have several complaints. 1. ) I made an order online yesterday and received confirmation order # via text and email. The item was to be picked up today in the Kettering store at 11:00 am. 2.) I got a call at 7:30 AM (which i did not appreciate) from an employee that said she didn't have this item in store. 3.) I checked my email and text there was no confirmation of cancellation of order. 4.) I called the number for "customer service" . Some guy that sounded half a sleep took my call and agreed it still showed the complete order online and he was also puzzled . He was going to look into it and call the store and try to understand what was going on. 5.) He didn't do that and all he did was transfer me to the same hateful woman running curbside pickup. 6.) I asked for confirmation of cancellation of order and she was very rude, rude, rude and said if I have an issue to call corporate and that I don't get a confirmation text or email. 7.) I went back to my online order and tried to edit my credit card information and cancel the order myself since I have serious trust issues with this merchant. It wont let me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is NOT how you run customer service or a business!!!!!!!!!! I am upset that you allowed me to order something that does not exist, that the lady called way too early and was rude, that the customer service phone number was a waste of time to call and resulted in another conversation with a rude curbside girl . I will be printing this information and sending it to corporate offices since my customer service phone call resulted in NO HELP. I cant even cancel my online order that now says its not in stock but is still...
Read moreThis store does not know the Americans WITH Disabilities LAW. THEY discriminate against service animals. It's very disconcerting and I have even brought the law and still people approach me when my SERVICE Poodle with $60,000.00 of training For my diabetes is in a cart. My Poodle is immaculate and is to be treated as an other person according to Federal Americans with DISABILITIES act. A congressional Federal. LAW PASSED to protect Service animals from being discriminated against while accompanying the Disabled doing their JOBS. My poodle is professionally trained and he let's me know when my diabetic number will drop me to the floor so I can "sip" something to keep my sugar up and not die, WITHOUT my dog I can actually die. But, they constantly want my Champion Service Animal to walk on their dirty floors instead of riding in the basket. All service animals, By LAW, are supposed to be treated as any other "person" in the world. My dog Has credentials. And a service uniform he wears. He is immaculately groomed. including having being wiped after each time he goes potty.
I see children who are dirty, snotty Moses, dirty diapers sitting in carts. MY Poodle. Is nothing lie that and yet Meijer Breaks the law discriminating against him riding in the cart.
I'm reporting ALL stores who do not follow the law to the Proper authorities for their inability to welcome a service animals.
BOTTOM LINE: SERVICE ANIMALS ARE MANDATED "AS PEOPLE" BY LAW. Do not allow stores to change the law because they are ignorant of this law. Stores can ask you one question about your service animal. "Is that a service animal?" Nothing else. If you anawer, "yes" They can say no more to you. " By law". Americans with...
Read moreI've shopped at Kroger for years, and decided to give Meijer a fair shot. So, I've been shopping at Meijer now for about a year, having shopped at Kroger all previous years, probably around 10. I can say with honesty that Meijer is actually cheaper than Kroger, on average, even with all of Kroger's coupons. In fact, I believe the coupons are there only to fool you. I was consistently spending $250 plus a week at Kroger on groceries, at Meijer 250 is the max I've spent in the last year. Additionally, the carts are made better, they have cup holders and a spot for you to put your pen and grocery list. They also have a separation on the bottom so that things don't slide off of the cart. It doesn't stop there: the produce is better, they have a far larger organic produce selection, the Meijer brand products far surpass the Kroger brand products, if you're a vegetarian, the vegetarian selection is enormous compared to the one at Kroger, the store seems cleaner, and when your groceries are bagged, they're bagged correctly. The person that is checking you out is also bagging the groceries, so if you put them on the belt in a certain way they get bagged in the exact same way, you would think this wasn't rocket science but at Kroger it seems they just put anything anywhere all willy-nilly and it sends me into a blind rage. Meijer also consistently has product in stock, whereas Kroger does not. There's literally everything about Meijer that is better than Kroger. So if you've been shopping at Kroger, give Meijer a shot and I'm sure you'll see, as I do, they are far superior. Note: I speak of the Meijer on stroop road, the Meijer on Colonel Glenn is not...
