West Beach Conference Center — Local services in Kiawah Island

I recently attended an event at the West Beach Conference Center in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The center is located on a beautiful private island with plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The meeting rooms were spacious and well-equipped with comfortable chairs and plenty of outlets for charging devices. The audiovisual equipment worked well, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Update- Tonight - 2/2/25, saw Atlantic Rhythm Section. They are fantastic, but we're so loud and obviously the acoustics haven't been taken care of. Then the mics go out 3 times and finally Rodney Justo walked off stage. Very disappointing when a venue like this still can't get it right.

The half marathon race expo was held here again this year in December. It was pretty crowded but very clean and organized. There is a nice resort and beach nearby. Lots to do. Not much in the way of restaurants...
