Kiawah Island Community Association — Local services in Kiawah Island

Beware if you have a travel van! The Kiawah Community views this as an RV and will ticket you. The front gate will NOT tell you this. Kiawah governance is compromised of the Town of Kiawah, Kiawah Resort and Kiawah Community Association. They all point fingers at each other. Sad that our experience ended with spending 45 minutes trying to fi d the authority who left the ticket on my windshield. My van is no bigger than a parking space. Construction vans and trucks are ok. But if you travel in a van....BEWARE. You are not allowed to park at the villa you rent from the resort. Not...
