If going to a nail salon & having a technician do whatever they want without listening to you is your jam, then this is the nail salon for you!
I asked (& paid) for a stone massage/ gel pedicure. I never received the stone massage and the pedicure is terrible. The pink polish doesn't match my manicure and it's that gross, streaky pink polish. I'm going to go somewhere else tomorrow to change it because I look at returning to poor nail salons like returning food to the kitchen: you don't do it!
I've attached a photo of the manicure (w/nail art) which I requested and a photo of the manicure I received. The technician was going to need to dip 4 nails differently to 1 nail and because she did what she wanted (dipping all nails the same color); my request wasn't going to be possible so I just let it go & got out of there ASAP.
There was no proper cuticle cleaning as I asked (just the bezzle post-dip) & because of how poor the pedicure "massage" was; if it can be called that, I washed my hands and skipped whatever this place considers a post mani-massage.
If it wasn't my birthday today & I hadn't looked forward all week to this design; I would've let this all go but at $80 + a $10 tip (left only because my feet had to be touched & the manicure is decent apart from not being what I requested), I'm leaving my review to warn others who like nail art & technicians who listen.
9/18/23 Forgot how terrible my last experience was and popped in tonight for a mani/pedi. Supposed to be a regular, but they sold me on an upgrade to gel & dip duo assuring me the colors would match which THEY DO NOT. Paid over $100 and they laughed & said "guess you'll just have to wear closed toed shoes so no one knows" likely because it was closing time and they're too lazy / didn't want to correct their mistake. 42 shellac is an orange tone while 42 dip is a mauve tone. Lady also forgot to gloss the pinky toe. Massage and soak wasn't refreshing at all, rushed and sloppy service. Don't make my mistake and give this place a 2nd chance. They care only about the money instead of delivering quality service; I would've happily come back another day to fix the pedi color as I realize people want to head home. I hope when they're customers outside of their salon that they're as understanding of mistakes and just roll with it like they demand of their customers! No clue how this place has a 4.8 either, given how empty the salon was I should've taken that as a sign & RAN. (9/26/23 Terrible dip powder used: every nail chipping away after only 8 days and I don't work in construction, so their service and product is sloppy. Avoid this place...
Read moreTook my 9YO granddaughter today for pedis and she wanted nails polished w/design-gel. (This is the 5th time we’ve been here and have never experienced this type of service) I had a lady that was rushing, going 90 to nothing, very over the top like a speed demon. The younger girl with my granddaughter was awesome. When it came time for to my granddaughters nails they switched out 1/2 way through because the younger nail tech did not know how to do paw prints (no problem). The issue came in when the lady continued to go 90 to nothing, slapping polish on my granddaughters nails and it’s on her skin. She wants her to cure it and I politely say not yet it’s on her skin. She proceeds to tell me it’s fine… she’s done nails for years, she’s the nail tech… she gets it off later (with the drill), etc. It got so bad that I tell her she is being very overbearing at the moment in case she didn’t realize that. We go back and forth - this woman was not professional and TOO much! I have no clue what her issue was but when I went to pay $125 for our services- no, we will NOT be visiting again. When we left, I apologized to my granddaughter and told her just because she’s 9 she must respectfully speak up if the service is not correct, and never allow someone to act like that towards her. *Many times, adults pay for a service but because the clients are kids they do not get the complete service the salon has listed. *I myself have been a nail tech for many years but this is time with my...
Read moreI sent my bride-to-be to Luxury Nails & Spa across from the police station on Friday to get her nails done so they would be beautiful for her engagement photos. Of course; she was unaware at the time that I would be proposing. She got a mani/pedi at the cost of $110. As you can clearly see in the photos, they did an absolutely terrible job. As she was unaware of the importance of them being too-notch, as well as being short on time; she was unable to request that they redo them, they don’t seem to be qualified for the job anyway. I called them as soon as they opened on Saturday (the big day) and informed them of the situation. It wasn’t easy to get them to grasp the whole of the situation, nor that there was no time for them to make it right any other way than a full refund (what I feel is a MORE than fair request), but once I did, they agreed to a refund in full. Shortly after opening this morning, my fiancé was there as requested by the owner, to receive the refund. She was told to wait outside, so she went to her car. The employee then came to the car and instructed her to wait on the sidewalk. Shortly after; she was given $40 and told that would be all they would be refunding her. In most situations I would throw my hands up and be satisfied to just write a bad review and move on, but this is no ordinary situation. The time has passed and the damage is done. The short of it: AVOID AT ALL COST.
