The owner of the place, practices underhanded and unhygienic methods of cost cutting. The freezers routinely go out and instead of throwing away the items, he leaves them in an above freezing dairy cooler overnight and puts them back out the next day. He orders his workers to cook old, foul smelling chickens because he wants to save money rather than throw them out. The breakfast biscuits are made from weeks out of date eggs and cheese. He pays his workers 10 dollars an hour because theyâre mostly high schoolers and he can get away with it. Then, he makes a giant issue when anyone of their age (mostly high school age) comes by to chat. He says âbe buying something, or get trespassed.â He has millions for himself but not a single cent to provide any kind of employee discount. Not even 10% off. He is disrespectful and rude to employees when life situations occur that leave them unable to come in. The owner is the WORST to work for in the entire state of tennessee and his falling apart health hazard of a store should be shut down tomorrow. This place is not the kind little small business people think it is. Stay FAR away. Folllwing my experiences here, I do not plan on ever spending a penny again. PLEASE find somewhere else to do your shopping so this place goes out of business and someone who will put something worth the lot is sits on buys it and tears...

Some of the prices are very high for this to be our local grocery store they shouldn't charge everyone so much money or before long a name brand store will move in and shut this store down. This is our only family ran local store so help your community and lower prices. Other than that it's very clean the employees that stay there are very nice. Please keep in stock baby formula so we don't have to give our business to Walmart or Kroger thanks. If we help yawl with a income help your customers with lower prices. Tell your baggers to be a little more helpful and ask to carrier bags. Like the older days and help with cart return instead of just looking at us...
Read moreWho ever is stocking the fresh vegetables should go to other grocery stores and see how it is done to keep them fresh. The shove delicate greens into bins until they are all damaged and there does not seem to be any misting to keep them from wilting. The person in charge of the meat department also needs additional training. Previously I found lunch meat on the shelf that was weeks expired and the "fresh" beef is often already darkening. I could just be the kind of turnover they get from their clientele base but it is obvious to me that some kind of scheduling needs to be observed. Maybe a vacuum packer with nitrogen gas to improve shelf life. I'm not a grocer so I'm...
