Missouri Furniture — Local services in Kirksville

On March 23, 2023 I made a $5000 furniture purchase from Missouri Furniture in Kirksville MO. Biggest mistake I’ve made in years as the salesman and store manager lied regarding the price match with Ashley’s online pricing. I discovered this mistake shortly after the furniture was delivered. I immediately went to the store and brought this oversite to the attention of the store manager. The store manager wouldn’t even look at the prevailing prices and just told me they use the prices in the Missouri Furniture’s computer. The district manager contacted me via Email a few days later. He sidestepped the matter and offered to make things right by giving me the mirror for my dresser which I actually had paid more for just the dresser without the mirror. I then contacted the Missouri Furniture corporate office and was told by a customer service manager that she would look into the matter and get back with me. I never heard back from this person and in spite of additional calls the matter is still unresolved. And an actual quote taken from an email from the district manager, “We do absolutely price match Ashley’s on-line pricing”. My advice would be to purchase furniture from any company OTHER THAN Missouri Furniture and to do your research on merchants via online reviews like this one and the Better Business Bureau. If there were anything lower than one star I would give it. This store is terrible. I ordered a mattress set May 25th. It is now Sept 2nd and still no mattress. I was told 3 to 5 weeks originally. After waiting 7 weeks I was told 8 to 10 weeks and that they just were not available. After waiting 12 weeks I was told it was at the distribution center and would b here in a week to week and a half. After waiting over 2 more weeks I started to make some calls. I found that there was 22 of these mattresses at the distribution center and they send trucks out twice week and the item goes out on the next truck as soon as they receive the order. It is over 14 weeks now and once again I am being told that it could b 1 to 2 weeks. They have never once called to update me on the status of my order. My advice, do business with missouri furniture at your own risk. Read ALL the reviews before using them. I am not the first to whom they have lied and I am now just waiting for...

I have purchase all of my new furniture from Ashley and Frank at Missouri Furniture /Ashley store in kirksville for the past 3 years . They have more than went over and beyond to make sure I purchased every thing I needed over past 3 years . Also they have made sure that I received the sale price they had advertised for the weekend I purchased each piece . I have also recommended several friends from Missouri and surrounding states that purchased furniture from Ashley and Frank , they were so surprised and enjoyed the experience of purchasing the amazing quality and price of all of their furniture /appliance needs . I am very proud that Missouri Furniture /Ashley have the extraordinary employees that Frank and Ashley are . KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK...
