Hot Box Cookies — Local services in Kirkwood

I have never wrote a Google review before, but this deserves one. I ordered ahead through the app on 11/14/2022 and 12/16/2022. The November order was bigger- 24 cookies total. The cookies were not baked yet when I arrived even though they were "ready" for pick up in November. I waited around for 30 minutes and it was a big hassle. I assumed since it was a bigger order, it was a miscommunication even though I ordered almost a week in advance... I tried to give this location another chance today since I wasn't placing as big of an order. I like the idea of ordering ahead so you don't have to wait when you get there. I arrived 15 minutes after my order should've been ready. The cashier let me know that she has to call her manager (who is out doing a delivery) because she doesn't take care of the online orders. The cashier came back up and told me all of my cookies were made besides the monster cookies. I ordered 8 monster cookies and 4 other random flavors. She let us know that she put the monster cookies in the oven and they would be ready in 20 minutes. I asked if I could wait in my car in the parking lot. After I walked back inside, the manager let me know that her employee said I already picked up my order. No cookies were even made... The 4 other flavored cookies I ordered were no longer available and the manager let me know there won't be anymore monster cookies made tonight. Moral of the story... I will not be returning. Terrible communication between manager and staff. We were given the 12 leftover cookies instead of what we ordered. The manager blamed the mistake on her employee. This was a waste of $20 and an hour of my night. ONLINE ORDERING IS NOT...

So , today was my first time going into the establishment. I am usually in the North county /West end area so me being all the way out in Kirkwood was a surprise for me. I had a sweet tooth because I am toward the end of my monthly (TMI? Don't care lbs) & if we're being completely honest a little stoned. I saw from a distance assign saying hot box cookie and I said to myself.."shit I just got done hot boxing 😂 so let me swing on in here and see what's going on" two beautiful gals, I believe (I hope I don't get this wrong) their names were Missy & Aliyah. they made my first experience totally awesome and I felt nothing but warmth coming from their individual personalities. their conversation was awesome to the point where I just wanted to sit back and kick it with them and just chill lol. they were easy to talk to and they answered all of my questions. I grew into a tree nut allergy at the age of 18 (I'm 31 now) so when I go into places that I don't and have never been to I like to try to read the ingredients. they even brought out the box/boxes of things I was getting and allowed me to read the ingredients. A lot of places won't do that. I was grateful for that. so thank you for making my day and experience worth...

I went to the store in st louis today. I waited in the store for over 25 min waiting for someone to come out. I tried calling the store to see if someone would answer and no one did. I was about to leave and request a refund from too good to go for my order and another family came in . I told them I'd been waiting a long time and they yelled into the back to see if anyone would answer . No reply. She looked behind the wall and saw someone leaning against the wall unconscious and said we might need to call for help. I went back there to make sure they were OK after trying to wake her twice she finally woke up and acted like it was just normal. I'm not sure what was wrong but I have an idea and I hope they get help. I got my food and left . The cookies are delicious but I think I'll steer clear...
