FIRST VISIT I’ve been visiting a local coffee place (Teleo Coffee) and was blown away by the exceptional service I received from the workers. They were all very helpful and nice, which made for a great experience.
While I only tried their coffee, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. It was good enough for me to want to come back again. One of the things I really appreciated was the variety of coffee options they had on the menu, from drip coffee with a few options to americano. This made it easy for me to find something that suited my taste buds.
Overall, I highly recommend this coffee place for anyone who appreciates good service and a great cup of coffee. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness really made the experience special, and the coffee itself was definitely worth coming back for.
FEW VISITS LATER: I recently had the pleasure of visiting a friendly neighborhood coffee shop, and I must say that after multiple visits, the exceptional service and warm atmosphere have never wavered. It is such a joy to be greeted with genuine smiles and a helpful attitude from the moment I walk through the door. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment.
One thing I particularly appreciate about this coffee shop is their willingness to engage in conversations about coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I always have questions and a thirst for knowledge, and the staff here never disappoints. They are always eager to share their expertise and teach me more about the intricacies of coffee, making each visit not only enjoyable but also educational.
Given that summer is in full swing, I've been opting for a refreshing cold coffee during my mid-day visits. Unlike my morning cup, I prefer to have some sweetness in my afternoon brew. Every time I ask for a recommendation, they never fail to surprise me. One such delightful creation was the "Honey Bear." This intriguing honey-sweetened latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top elevated the flavors to a whole new level. It was a unique and satisfying experience that I will remember.
On my most recent visit, I decided to try the "Mini Monroe," and once again, the coffee exceeded my expectations. The friendly atmosphere remained intact, regardless of how slow or busy they were. That consistency is commendable and a testament to the dedication of the staff. I can confidently say that this coffee shop is worth a visit, not only for the extraordinary service but also for the exceptional taste they consistently deliver.
As the summer unfolds, I look forward to continuing my exploration of their menu. With each visit, I discover new flavors and combinations that ignite my curiosity. I am confident that this coffee shop will continue to provide an exceptional experience throughout the season.
In conclusion, if you are searching for a hidden gem that offers extraordinary service, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and a range of delightful coffee options, this neighborhood coffee shop is the place to be. Their commitment to providing a memorable experience sets them apart, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply someone seeking a delightful beverage, this place is sure to leave a...
Read moreI don't like giving bad reviews but I drink a LOT of coffee and Teleo is not a place for coffee lovers on a weekend. Granted we went on a Saturday late morning in Kirkwood, which locals know is crazy. But let's break it down.
First of all the coffee was wrong. Mine was supposed to be a black full Columbian but clearly had significant Ethiopian content. I saw her draw it out of the urn labeled "Columbian", but it was not. My daughter's cold concoction was an unexpected color and she said it wasn't very good.
Normally, I would adjust expectations during a busy time, but the primary reason they were backed up was because they were only putting out a beverage every 3-5 minutes. So, they had a tremendous back up and wait time. No one could hear the orders being called out because of the noise, so everyone was just bumping up against each other trying to see if the next one was theirs.
The atmosphere is more difficult to rate. Decor-wise, charming and probably lovely in slower times. But, in part because of the backup of people waiting for their order, it was LOUD on the first floor. There is no actual waiting area, so everyone was fighting to figure out where the ordering line was and where to stand to wait for their order. There were just 5-6 tables in the main room and low sound-reflecting ceiling there just had everyone yelling their conversations. There was an upstairs that others said was full, so I didn't go up there.
It was obviously popular, but I'm not sure why. Again maybe a totally different experience...
Read moreI ordered a plain bagel with egg and cheese. They were out of plain cream cheese, so my husband passed. They gave me a pager. At some point they called my name but since my pager went off we figured it was a different order. At some point, I asked about pagers versus name calling and was told they use pagers for food orders. But there had been a bag up in the window which seemed unlikely to have a drink in it, so my husband then went up to check only to realize that the name they called 10 min earlier was, in fact, mine. Pager never went off. We got in the car and when I checked the sandwich it was on an everything bagel rather than plain and had meat on it. I went back in and they remade it. We waited over 10 min. At about 5 min (it was just a thin scrambled like egg w a piece of cheese), I was told it was coming. Again, at some point another 5 min later, I walked to the window (actually, I was right next to it but was standing in a doorway so couldnt see the window). There was a bag up on the window ledge and sure enough was mine. They NEVER called my name at all. So if I had not kept checking I would not have known it was there. Over thirty min to get that one sandwich was not bad but nothing special at all. Overcooked cheese, almost like it was heated in the microwave (the way cheese looks at the edges when its microwaved) and a...
