Kirkwood Public Library — Attraction in Kirkwood

This is a fantastic library. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. The old time charm of the building provides a relaxing environment. They have a 3D printer for public use. The computers are in great condition and the Wi-Fi connection is excellent. The video selection is up to date with new releases. The library is conveniently located in downtown Kirkwood with plenty of coffee shop's and restaurants in walking distance. The children's book room is top notch with a huge selection of children's books and other children's media. If they don't have the book you are looking for they can usually order it from other libraries. The bathrooms are always clean and in good working condition. It a wonderful resource for citizens and one of the highlights...

September 2019 Update: Still good. Their IT could do a better job of provisioning and configuration to improve workstation performance.

Though they turned over the entire fiction section in the last decade. And the authors of today are not as good as the authors or yesteryear. KPL is primarily a fiction library with a large periodicals and large DVD rental.

They have a large selection of music on CD and foreign film DVDs.

With the WW Keysor school, in kindergarten, we'd go to the basement and listen to tales told by story tellers...

Excellent service as always! I had to make an appointment to use the library computer to print and scan some paperwork today. Lynn could not have been more helpful. I was actually dreading going in because of the social distancing, need for an appointment, one hour timeslots, Knock at the door and give the secret password (ok....just kidding).
