I have never had an issue with the actual washing of my car, that experience has always been top notch. My issue stems from corporate and customer service. Back in November 2021, I opened a claim to update the draft date of my Auto Wash Club autodraft; I wanted to change from the 9th to the 15th. I knew it was too late for November but thought surely in December the change would be made. It was not and in December I was overdrafted on the 9th and received a fee from my bank. I checked my claim for Zips and saw it was still open. January I was hoping for the same and was again drafted on the 9th and received an overdraft fee....the same happened again in February. When it came time for March I actually went to the physical location and requested to cancel my account. Of course when I canceled I received an email from Zips, about them hating to see me leave. I then took to the time to explain my entire situation; side note, I went and checked my original claim and it had been closed "resolved" the month before. I was emailed by them on 3/11 after I canceled, I just not got a response back from them today 3/29. Asking for address, because of course it has to be a check. And I am sure I will not get back the 3 overdraft charges of $35 I have requested. All in all, DO NOT sign up for autodraft with a card on file, because if you need to make in changes, good luck contacting them....In response to Zips' response: I see where you left me a link to file a claim. Read moreCONSUMER WARNING - VEHICLE DAMAGED BY CAR WASH AUTOMATED SYSTEMNO COMPENSATION PROVIDED** This CAR WASH system broke my passenger side mirror off of my car & I was not compensated at all. I was actually told that it was probably my fault. I went through the car wash, had my music turned up due to the car wash roar, was catching up on texts, & I felt my car rock, & then jerk, & I heard a pop noise. I looked up & I couldn't figure out what the noise was at that time, & I went back to my texts. I proceed to vacuum my car after the car wash cycle concluded, & I go to the passenger side & I see my side mirror dangling by a wire (reference the 2 pics). I speak with the site manager, who begrudgingly records the incident report info from me, & he tells me that he'll submit the report, but he knows that they will not compensate me for the damage to my vehicle. I received an email 3 days later specifying that any damage that occurred to my vehicle from the car wash was solely my responsibility b/c my side mirrors were not folded inward (I own a sub-compact sedan) during the car wash cycle. I had been through that specific car wash dozens of times without incident & their automated car wash somehow got out of alignment, & out of whack , & I am responsible for the $1300 repairs to have a passenger side mirror replaced. Read moreI have been a loyal customer for 3 years. I believe that this car wash is now the worst car wash in the area. Zips recently sent notices out to their monthly billing customers over COVID to inform them that their monthly billing package prices were increasing. Then, their 2 locations that I most frequently visit both get rid of their polishing station close to the end of their car wash. Also, it is not unusual for the car wash service lanes to have one lane out of order. Additionally, when I was their today, half of the vacuums were not functioning and the staff turned off all vacuums at 7:50pm while I was still cleaning my car. So, not only has Zips raised monthly prices, they've also raised the price of their top tier car wash again, they no longer have a polishing station in their car wash, and only half of their vacuums are functional. What is wrong with this picture? What's wrong is that I'm still paying a monthly fee for less car wash services than I've had for 3 years through this company.
