I thought Iād found the macaron spotāIād even left a glowing 5 star review earlier in the day. But by that evening, I couldnāt place an order at 7:01pmādespite the store being open until 8:00pm.
If youāre not going to honor your posted hours for delivery orders, then change them. Otherwise, it feels like the store is picking and choosing when it wants to be āopenā depending on convenience. I completely understand that DoorDash orders must cut off prior to closing time to give drivers time to arrive at the storeābut cutting them off a whole hour early (at a bakery) just seems excessive and honestly misleading given that the posted hours say close isnāt until 8:00.
My original reviewā Never been in person but Iāve been ordering their macarons thru DoorDash for several months nowā¦and let me just say; OMG. Probably the best macarons Iāve ever tasted in my life (and I do consider myself a professional macaron connoisseur). The new vanilla blueberry is my very fav so far, but I also enjoyed the vanilla blackberry and the lemon poppyseed and pistachio raspberry are delish, too. Iām tempted to remove my recommendation of the vanilla blueberry cuz I donāt want ppl eating them all up lol. The macaron filling is far creamier than most other companiesā macarons, the shells are so fresh with the perfect almond whisperā¦ugh, ok I gotta stop before my mouth waters....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just want to comment on my experience to this place today. I visited the place today. Upon entering the store, I was struck by an invisible glass wall that was right behind the door. I visited the store at night, and there was no lighting outside, and bright inside. I was not able to see that there was a secondary glass door behind the entrance. The employees were trying to hold back their laughter and offered me some ice to calm down the bruise on my nose. They offered me a free drink, but I declined the offer. I was feeling consistent pain on my nose, so I asked the employee whether I should go to hospital for the injury. One of the employee quickly said āNo, it looks fine unless it bleeds.ā I donāt understand how my bruised noise (checked when I got back to the car) could look fine to them. The employee also mentioned that I was not the only one who crashed into the glass door. I left the place, and found that the employees laughing when I looked back at the store. I am writing so that the store can understand that this is a serious matter, and should not be taken lightly. I still cannot get over the fact that the employees found my injury funny when a customer was injured from a safety hazard in their store. This can easily be made into a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI sought this place out after googling " Pavlova near me". I hear Pavlova over and over again on Bluey and I've never had it, so I set out on a Quest! My husband and I threw the kids in the car and started our journey, hopeful that the boogers would be asleep for their afternoon nap before we pulled into the parking lot. 25 minutes later we pulled into the parking lot with a quiet backseat. I ran in, feeling underdressed, but on a mission. The young lady at the front desk was very kind and smiley. There were a few couples in the cakery enjoying delicious looking desserts. It was very clean, well lit, and beautiful. The kind of ambiance fit for a tea party with your little princess or even a nice date. Everything in the display case looked good enough to be at a 5 star event or on a magazine. I got the Pavlova which was a perfect date size cake and a blueberry tart. It was hard not to get one of everything it all looked amazing. They even provided take away silverware, so my husband and I sat in the parking lot and went ham on that Pavlova. It was so good. The crunch of the merengue, the lemon?filling had a little bite, and the fruit on top just went together perfectly. I definitely recommend this place and I'll return soon for...
