Wow! Never have I experienced fedex the way I have with this location. I paid for overnight delivery through Best Buy and it was already a day late. We were out of town on vacation so I used the post office’s general delivery option. Basically, you have the package shipped to the post office and use your name followed by general delivery to address the package and pick it up there. Best Buy did just that. Many people use this option if they don’t want packages sitting on their door step if they aren’t home. Then they go to the post office to pick it up.
In this case we were out of town and leaving on Sunday. The package was supposed to be delivered on Thursday and then Friday. Fedex didn’t deliver it to the post office on Friday and listed the status as “wrong address” because they saw it was a post office and didn’t know they delivered there. Mind you, a separate fedex ground shipping center dropped a package the day before at the same post office without problem. Both packages were in the same order from Best Buy.
We called 4 times and we didn’t know why they changed the address until much later in the process. I kept asking who changed it and why. Also I asked the rep to tell me the new address. She said she didn’t know and asked if it was us. WHAT?!?! It was fedex the whole time! She advised she couldn’t share that information and I could pay if I wanted the package rerouted since we would be leaving and going home on Sunday. The new delivery date was Monday - after we would be home.
They offered to let me pick it up at the ground shipping center on Saturday. It was 44 miles away and we were doing family things on Saturday. It’s an hour each way and they couldn’t give me a time to pick it up. They would call me in the morning to let me know. That would have screwed up the entire day. Especially since my family and I wouldn’t be able to do anything until I got the package in case they called and I had to leave right away. WHAT A JOKE!!! This place sucks. I will only use them if I have to. UPS is my preferred vendor from now on. Avoid this place...
Read moreA company that has an average of 2.5 stars should be forced to shut down. The amount of time I've had to spend on the phone and sitting in my home waiting to get my packages should be considered criminal. I have 12 emails of lies promising delivery times, each one saying "on time" but as of today, you're 6 days late. I got another failed promise for delivery 2 days ago. At 2:36 I got an email saying you tried to deliver at 2:24 but no one was home. I was literally sitting/working 12' from my front door and I have a security camera that says you either went to the wrong place, again, or you're lying. There is a big sign out front with my address on it and my door has large numbers. Can't be missed by anyone with eyes. In the past 5 years, I've been stuck with 3 deliveries through FE and all 3 have had problems, this time being the worst by far. Since the time GPS was invented, the number of times I've gone to the wrong address has been 0. But a delivery company got it wrong 3/3 times? Yesterday at 12:30 AM, you read that right, 12:30 AM, I got an email saying it was out for delivery. I waited the entire day and at 8PM, on my 9th call to customer service, I was told it was sitting in a truck and you didn't even attempt a delivery. I'm promised another attempt today and in the middle of the window, I must walk 2 blocks away to deliver something. Yes, I need to deliver something and I'm doing everything I can to be there exactly when I say I'm going to. That's called being responsible. I can almost guarentee that will be the 15 minutes where you'll tell me you attempted a delivery. The sender has offered me a full refund whether you deliver or not. Why should they have to pay for your complete failure of a company? Do you read your reviews? Do you not feel a responsibility to try to do better? Other review sites have your average at 1 to 1.5 stars. 2.5 is...
Read moreHow do I give this negative stars? Living in the Rockies means sub par service, everywhere. To save time, money and an hour drive to grocery stores with a baby in winter storms, I get a meal delivery service. It was to be delivered Friday, and it’s food, so it’s extremely perishable. Waited all day, no call, no package. 7pm and I contacted fedex kremmling and they said they sent the package back to the fedex facility for inspection because the box was wet. The lady on the other end of the phone said it was going to be kept in the freezer. I get it Monday morning, theee days later, and needless to say, this box was warm, the freezer packs in it were melted and my 80 bucks of food was ruined. We ended up having To spend even more money, and bundling our baby up to go make the hour trekk to the grocery store to spend more money getting food to cook for the next week. Zero excuse for piss poor service like this. We(as in the entire community out here), rely heavily on ordering things online, since we live in a terribly inconvenient place. I am incredibly...
