Office Depot — Local services in La Cañada Flintridge

1 star because ZERO is not option. Walked in to have a 1 inch stack of paper cut. Mind you not one customer was in line, asked if we could get the paper cut and were told we must create a job and they can't tell us how long it will take. Also there's online orders ahead of you so you're going to have to wait. I asked for the store manager. Employee calls the manager ove the radio, then goes to speak privately with the manager before letting her speak with me.

The manager comes out and you can already see she's made a decision before even talking to me.

She says, what's the problem!?

I proceed to ask if we could get our paper cut, she gives me the same response as the employee. I point out to her she has herself plus 7 other employees all standing around doing nothing, and that they should prioritize customers in store. She continues to tell me that's not how it works and I need to wait.

I told her she as the manager has the discretion to make the call and just help the customer or lose or business completely. She said she didn't need my business. We left and im waiting for a call from the district...

I usually go to Staples but this Office Depot came in handy when I needed to print a single sheet of shipping label that UPS wanted to charge me $2 for. Parking is spacious in the lot, store isn't busy and has most of things you'll need, but I'll focus more on the printing experience. I brought my file in a USB stick, plugged in, and it wasn't reading anything unfortunately. I was hoping it would just work but I had to look up the original file on my phone, email it to the specified email on the printer, wait, enter a code, wait, add my payment on the machine, wait, and after some waiting, it came out beautifully for only 15 cents a page. Great deal, but the whole process took me close to 10 min and I was getting impatient because it would've taken less than a min at home, but my toner had ran out and UPS was unreasonably priced. In the end, I was satisfied with the outcome and I'd go back again for printing needs, but the machines are very slow and may test your patience! If they would get faster, it would've been a 5...

Awesome......Great....... Customer Service!!!!! I went in to buy a new computer chair (got a great Cressfield chair for $99.00). So when i went to pick it up, they had a showroom model of my chair. So......... while Jose was in the back getting my boxed chair, i took my wallet out of my pocket to test the chair properly, then, Jose let me know he had my chair at the front desk ready to go. So..., of course i walked off without my wallet, paid in cash, so i still didn't know i left it at the chair showroom. So............ 2 days later when i went to use my credit card from my wallet........ Gone!! So i traced back where i thought i had it last, & Office Depot was my hope. I called them up, told them my story, Jose went to check lost & found, &............. YES!! he said he had it & was just waiting for me to call. So to Jose, & all of the Office Depot employees at the Montrose store........ THANK YOU SOOOOO...
