The Nature Place — Local services in La Crosse

I have traveled to Wisconsin many times in the last few years, and the last time I was in La Crosse, I wanted to find a spot with wild birds to photograph. I found this Park, I took the "Cotton wood Trail" which took me to a couple of Scenic viewpoints, and even though I didn't find any wild birds to photograph, Those two spots were Awesome!! If you visit this park, and go for a walk, please take the "Cottonwood Trail" north of the parking lot (about a 1/4 mile)and then turn right and you'll find the spots I'm telling you about, enjoy...

Nature Place is pretty neat

A number of exhibits and installations including wildlife photography and natural science classroom, and lounge areas like the library loft and main floor where they have free coffee and snacks.

Great place to stop to learn about marsh animals before you head out for a marsh hike

We took Cottonwood trail on this day and grabbed a bottled water from here and rested before heading out
