I actually LOVE this place and this place is so underrated. Their papaya is on point for flavor and the best in town. Love their basil fried rice, chicken wings, kapoon is also good too. They could tweak out their pad Thai and pad see ew dishes more as it was lacking flavor and soggy from the sauce tho. But overall this is one of the top Hmong restaurants on my list. Update: Pad see ew did not disappoint as it had so much flavor. I ordered lo mein for my kids and tried it, now iam addicted. The lo mein is by far one of the best I’ve had and yea way better than any of the lo meins I’ve had. The pho doesn’t taste bland like all the other restaurants. I love bold flavors and they delivered just that. Generous portions with a solid menu. Thank you so much! I will be visiting more often! 🥰

Best Asian food La Crosse has to offer. Started going here for the Thai spicy noodles because they are my favorite. Recently I have been switching it up and haven’t had one bad thing yet. Their red curry & pork belly pad kra pow were amazing. Today I decided to do their chicken stir fry ramen noodles and chicken wings with the spicy sauce on the side (pictured in this review). Both entrees were excellent. Also you won’t find crispier wings in town, probably my new favorite wings. They were perfection and the spicy sauce is a must. Definitely give this place a try.

Great service n wish them success but food bit underwhelming. Questionable re-visit. Papaya salad- 7/10. Has lil more padek funk than used to but still easily best dish on visit Pho- odd dark broth and very underflavored. Portion size ok. 5/10. Spicy thai noodles- not spicy but not bad. Very little meat though. 6/10.

This place is absolutely incredible. Big and complex flavors, well packaged, generous portions, and superb attention to detail.

The pho is better than others I’ve had in bigger markets. The broth is packaged separately from all the other fixings and incredibly rich and complex. In addition to the noodles, jalapeño, basil, bean sprouts, and lime, you also get little containers with Thai chili flake, hoisin/sriracha mix, chili/garlic oil, and peanuts! Love it!

Pad Thai was also excellent- I’m not usually a fan because it can get a little sweet, but this was perfectly balanced, less sweet, and very flavorful. Beef/broccoli stir fry was the same, just a little more complexity than what you might find at a local Chinese restaurant. (I will say beware if you ask for medium spice, which I like, personally, but may be pushing it for some!)

Another highlight was the papaya salad. If you’ve never tried this, do it! Big, bold and incredibly delicious dressing; umami central with spicy sweet/sour/salty/fishy flavors, crunchy peanut and green beans as well as tomatoes..some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying!

This is a newer restaurant, and I hope they find the community support that their food deserves. We are truly fortunate to have a place like Yummi’s in the area- I can’t wait to go back and try more...

I ordered online and was disappointed to find out that after an hour later, when I came in to pick up my food, they never started on my order. I was told it would take another 30 mins, which originally is the time they give you when you order online. The excuse they gave me was that they were too busy so they never called me and plus they had a large $200 order for 5pm. I came in at around 2:45pm.

I asked for a refund and left. This place needs to be more organized and if you can't handle online orders, don't do online orders! Or at least call your customers to know that it'll take 1.5hrs...
