Recently went in and upgraded my daughters phone. Had no problems what so ever. Went through with the upgrade. My credit card was chard $150, I was asked if I would like my receipt emailed or printed I requested emailed. I never did receive. Meanwhile, while being interrupted during the whole process many times and helping other guests, we were there for about 1.5 hours, my daughter had signed into her apple account. While it continued to sign itself in and update her apps he helped other customers and did other things, I was charged a "set up fee" of $30! I called and requested the receipt I didn't get, after seeing that I requested my money back, the guy who I spoke with refused, I asked for a manager he said they're on vacation, I asked for a manager on duty, he said there is none, I asked for whomever would take care of said situation in case they'd run into situations.. he said nobody is available. This could have been handled properly if it were disclosed that was being charged for this service.. this should not even be a charge? Absolutely uncalled for when my daughter did the work.. and the phone did the rest. He didn't have to search or reset any passwords or anything. Insane... and to not disclose what I'm being charged for or give me the option to do it myself?! People.. watch out for this stuff!...
Read moreAvoid this place at all costs. Very dishonest. Purchased a Gizmo watch for my daughter. Dealt with Ian through the entire process. He was great initially, but once he got the sale that all changed. I was told there would be no fees beyond what I paid in the store that day and then my monthly bill of $27 and change each month. Much to my surprise my first bill was over $72! I called the store and after explaining why I was calling I was told Ian wasn't available but they would give him a message to call me. Two days later I still hadn't gotten a call back so I called again. Once again I was told he wasn't available but this time I told them that if I didn't have a call back that day my next step would be to contact the store owner. I got a call back later that evening, and even though he admitted he told me what he did, he wasn't sure he could do anything about it but would look into it and call me back. It's been a week and I still haven't heard anything. Apparently they'll tell you whatever it takes to get the sale. Rather than taking more of my time trying to get them to right their wrong, I'm going to make sure I share my experience everywhere I can so others don't get...
Read moreWe have been having troubles with my wife’s iPhone 7 and after having the SIM card replaced , at no charge, and it still did not work we went back to get two new phones. We had her 7 and my 8 to trade in and were told the same thing about the trade ins could only be used for in store purchases. I am still confused about that, and frankly, the price of the screen protectors is absurd and the cases were also more expensive than they should have been. We were in a little bit of a hurry and were treated well and on the way quickly. I did need to go back a couple of times yo get some operational help on the phone and to register my overpriced screen protectors was a real challenge. Overall the service was good, but the lack of choice for the extras was a little disappointing. While we were in the store, three other people came in with 7’s that were also not working properly, my question is if apple knows of these issues, and I am sure they do, why did they not help those if us that owned them, to get updates at a more reasonable cost.
