My grandma went in last week with Petra. Being an elderly person with short and thin hair she thought her total would be between $140-$160 the most, thatâs why she didnât think of asking for pricing. They definitely didnât let her know what it would cost her to get her hair done. Her total was $435. Yes, $435 đ±đ±đ± When my grandma told me I called Petra two days later as to why she overcharged my grandma. Thatâs definitely a ripoff! They took advantage since my grandma didnât ask for the price. I asked if Petra can refund her at least $200 but they couldnât. Petra called my grandma 09/25 and said she would refund her $140 and they were able to Zelle her the money today 09/26 of $130 when it was supposed to be $140. Iâm very disappointed of how they didnât take Into consideration that my grandma is a retired elderly person with very low income and for Petra and her team take advantage of that makes me very upset. After I spoke to Petra I didnât hear back from her, I was In touch with Jessie. She couldnât handle her responsibility as a âprofessionalâ cosmetologist. It doesnât matter the city or the prices of every hair salon but I know for a fact and Iâm 1000% sure that they wouldnât charge my grandma $435. They overcharged her and what ever excuse they have $435 is not worth it. Please be aware of this âLuxuryâ hair salon. Make sure you ask for prices before getting anything done. I wouldnât want anyone else go through what my grandma went through. Her only income she has and for someone take it from her just like that is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I could keep on going but letâs just leave it as is....
Read moreI normally donât leave reviews, but I feel itâs important to share this experience in case it helps someone avoid the same disappointment. I went in asking for a caramel-toned balayage (see reference photo), but left with an uneven, overly orange result that looked nothing like what I asked for. The worst part? They rushed me out so quickly I didnât even get a chance to really see my hair until I got home.
To make matters worse, I was charged an extra fee to have my hair straightened â something I was never informed about beforehand. Every other salon Iâve gone to has either included styling in the service or been transparent about additional charges. When I questioned the total cost, the stylist suddenly dropped the price after acting confused, which felt shady and dishonest. She still charged me for it but was trying to charge me extra than the price
The overall experience was careless and rough. At one point, they left me sitting with foil positioned across my face while they went to eat. Another stylist walked by, noticed, and was surprised they had left me like that she was the one who stepped in to fix it.
Now Iâm left with damaged hair and color that I never wanted. Iâm having to correct it myself. I wouldnât recommend this salon to anyone. Specially not for the price to be honest not sure how they have such...
