Prepaid ($3,000) seats were delivered on time after months of waiting. The quality was as described, however the seats were sold as replacements for Sprinter Van seats and they were not. The seat bolt pattern did not match the Sprinter base so an adapter plate was supplied. The bolt patterns of the adapter plate did not match the Sprinter base. After hours of over boring I enlarged the holes enough to mount the adapter plate.
The seats did not have the Sprinter factory seat belt attachment system. As a "work around" tabs were welded to the adapter plate. The tabs were on both sides of the plate even though the seat belt attachment bolts only to one side of the seat. The driver's tab and bolt hit the parking brake making it necessary to remove and modify the plastic cover of the parking brake lever.
To use the seat belt tab the seat's skirt fabric ("leather") had to be cut several inches as the seat slides while the adapter plate with its tabs does not, leaving ugly white backing and sloppy looking skirts. Bottom line is the seats do not fit a Sprinter van.
To add fuel to the fire, when I called for suggestions for installation I was told they did not provide technical support because it was expected that the customer would hire "professional" installation.
If you need new seats for a Sprinter Van you may want to buy seats made for a Sprinter Van. Simply ask how the seat belt attaches to the seat. If the answer is anything other than "it bolts directly to the seat"...
Read moreI spent quite a long time researching and going to look at different seating options for my RV before deciding to go with shop4seats, I got the Qualitex De Leon series. It's a very comfortable two or three seat recliner sofa with a middle counsel that has 110 Volt plugs and USB, stainless steel cupholders I was happy to see, and some flip up reading lights; the middle section also has a little bit of under-seat storage. My dilemma was that there was no way for me to sit on it before buying it to make sure it was good quality and comfortable. This was a big issue for me because the couch I was replacing was no longer comfortable after just two years and I spent $800 for it, so obviously I didn't want a repeat only for even more money this time. Sales Rep Bob Wheelan was very helpful in alleviating these concerns for me, he accurately described the feel and quality of the material for me and of course the level comfort. We are very happy with the seats, I'm using the little table that comes with it to type this right now, everything Bob told me was spot on, he was very knowledgeable and patient while I hit him with a ton of questions. I highly recommend these guys and I'll definitely shop here next time for my...
Read moreRecently purchased a new set of Captains chairs, Dinette and power recliner couch for our motorhome. Joseph in sales was great. He spent the time to help me with selections and work to get me the best bang for my buck. He is always available for info when I call and ensures that notes from our discussion are in their system for all to see. So far, I have received the Dinette and the Captains chairs. They are beautiful and well made. It's always scary to buy online! When I received these 2 items, one piece was missing from the shipment. Joseph directed me to customer service, where i connected with Megan. I explained about the missing items, she reviewed the order, and asked if I had looked it over closely. When I said yes, she promptly created a new order to send the items. I also had questions about the recliner and how it would fit thru the door of the motorhome. She explained that it comes in 3 pieces and would definitely fit. She also confirmed that there were notes explaining special shipping instructions in their system. Overall, Joseph and Megan were a great help to us and I give them both 5 stars. In addition, we are very pleased with quality of our new motorhome furnishings...
