Listen….i am going to try to condense this; however, I need to stress that this is not a female friendly or people of colour friendly establishment when the woman bartender, with dyed blond hair who is a bit thick & an absolute savage is working. This woman, had the “im so privileged, i would never get fired” nerve to take the male patron I was with straight into the women’s bathroom & make a claim that the apparent mess of poop that someone had left in the handicapped stall, had to belong to the only female patron of colour in the entire establishment & demand that either he, or his female companion, clean it up. The male patron was obviously horrified at the demand from the employee, and refused. The employee then marched over to me, and informed me that “you made a huge mess in the bathroom.” I was absolutely blown away that after all day of working with special needs children & simply coming in for a much needed cocktail, I was being confronted by the bartender with some issue about the bathroom that I knew absolutely nothing about. I asked how she decided that I was the culprit of whatever ‘’mess’ she was speaking about & to my continued shock & horror, her repeated answer was, “I just know.” So to further clarify what we experienced at this bar; the bottle blond bartender decided to accuse the only female person of colour in the place of making a poop mess in a bathroom stall, then approaches the male patron of colour, brings him into the female bathroom and demands that he CLEAN the mess that she “ JUST KNOWS,” that the only female of colour in the establishment allegedly made. When the patron, rightfully refuses, she doubles down & approaches the female & makes the same accusations, again with multiple women there & her ‘just knows’ explanation to why the one and only female of colour must be the culprit behind the mess. When her accusations are met with obvious facts as to why she is accusing the wrong person, she doubles down further & says repeatedly “I can’t have you here.” So again to further recap this; when she is proven a liar, she then proceeds to KICK OUT the patrons of colour after hideously lying & accusing the female of making a poop mess in the bathroom. The female of colour that the bartender accuses, despite all of the assumptions, is an educated professional & very capable of matching fact with accusation & therefore is very capable of instantly proving that the accusations are false. Instead of bowing out disgracefully, the ‘bartender’ with no actual skill, repeatedly tells the patron, “I can’t have you here.” Based on what? I didn’t even use that stall when I went to the restroom haha. There was already another woman in there & she was the one sitting at the bar. But I think we all know, that fact didn’t matter to this...
Read moreHey guys: Do you remember Norm on Cheers? Every time he walked into Cheers everyone yelled "Norm". One time Norm walks into Cheers and everyone yells "Norm", then Coach, the bar tender asks Norm: "How is life treating you Norm?" and Norm responds :" ..like a baby treating his diaper.".
This is how you will be treated if you become a regular at Hedz Or Tales.
The bar HOT is definitely run by "Feminazis".
The owner's decisions were socially irresponsible for the community HOT is located in. And her decisions were hasty and emotional without any regard to business sense.
I now go to Fullerton Brewing Co., Heroes Bar awesome, Draft Pick, Les Amis and others they have great prices and good food and above all GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE without insults from a particular bar...
Read moreI moved here back in July 2021 but actually only started coming here in 2022. I have had nothing but a good time here. There's always good people, atmosphere, & absolutely no drama whatsoever. I usually only come for the last 2-3 hours before they close at 2 AM and order tall glasses of Budweiser on tap for a mere $5.55 each. You can't beat the price in this day in age. For those of you that like playing pool, this place is full of tournament players & have 4 seasons for the league. I myself am just catching my stride again after being away from pool since 2005 while I was in the Army & also stationed in South Korea. Those tournaments...
