I recently bought a dining set from Living Spaces, and let me tell you, it's been a total nightmare from start to finish. The delivery was a disaster. The table top and chairs were all scuffed up, and the chairs were wobbly. When I pointed it out, the delivery person blamed my floor, which was just ridiculous. I even had to move the chairs to prove they weren't wobbly on a “level surface”. I paid for full-service delivery, so this level of incompetence was really disappointing. I contacted customer support about the scratches on the table, hoping to exchange it. But guess what? The replacement they sent was even worse! The delivery driver had the nerve to say it was "part of the design," which was just absurd. Even after I sent them pictures, they kept insisting it was normal. It's like they don't want to admit their mistake. To add to the madness, I had a chat with one of their reps, and she spilled the beans: apparently, all their furniture is imported, and these screw-ups are just part of the deal. It's mind-boggling that they'd own up to such widespread issues yet do nothing to fix them. This chat only confirmed my decision to steer clear of them for good. After a lot of back and forth, I finally got a full refund and scheduled a pick-up for the faulty set. To avoid being without a table, I ordered a new one to be delivered on the same day. But then Living Spaces dropped the ball again and didn't schedule the pick-up like they said they would. It took several calls just to get it sorted out, and now I'm stuck with two sets in my house for no reason. And to top it all off, they forgot to include the extra dining chairs I ordered in the refund. It's unbelievable how disorganized they are. It's like they're running things with a bunch of kids behind the desk. I had to waste even more time calling them to fix their mistake. Overall, Living Spaces has been a complete letdown. Their delivery service and customer support are a joke. I won't be buying anything from them again, that's for sure. They deserve a big fat zero stars for their unprofessionalism. Steer clear of them at all costs!

Their 3rd party warranty service is garbage. The company will look for any possible reason not to honor the warranty. We bought a sofa and loveseat in March of 2023. Within 2 months the seam on the loveseat cushion started separating. We filed a claim and it was almost immediately denied. After calling the automated warranty service and trying every possible permutation of options in the menu I finally got a hold of an actual person who reopened the claim. They ended up replacing both sofa and the loveseat because they were out of production. Fast forward to August of 2024 and the cushions on both the replacement sofa and loveseat start separating at the seams. The warranty company's website only allows you to file a claim for one piece of furniture at a time. I filed a claim for the loveseat first. Again I had to fight them to get a covered defect that is covered in their contract. The technician that came out did a mediocre job at best fixing the cushion. After the first claim was done I filed a second claim for the sofa at the end of October using the same "discovery date" as I did for the loveseat. The denied the claim and the appeal for the sofa because the time between the discovery and claim date was over 60 days. I WAS FORCED TO WAIT TO FILE THE CLAIM BECAUSE OF THEIR SYSTEM AND THEY USED THAT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE TO AVOID FIXING A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. AVOID LIVING SPACES. THEY AND THEIR WARRANTY COMPANY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

Spent $895.00 for this sofa, part of a more than $4,000 purchase. It's been in use by one person for less than four hours a day for 71 days. No children and no pets. Living Spaces is proud to say that this condition is within their guidelines and that I am experiencing buyer's remorse! Any buyer's remorse would be related to the extremely poor quality of this sofa. Not only a shocking response for Jocelyn, but ignorant and disrespectful, as well. I have this response in an email from customer service supervisor, Jocelyn in the corporate office. Cushions are all distorted, seams on cushions are distorted, and fabric on cushion is stretched. No refund. No exchange. No warranty claim permitted. Yup, I have it all in writing - see photo - and clearly, grammar is not her strong suit! Jocelyn was not-smart enough to put this all in writing. Her email is going to the corporate office, but I suspect such bad customer 'service' may stem from the top. Caveat emptor - shop elsewhere if you want quality furniture. I would expect this from a $300 sofa! REPLY TO OWNER: I have emailed you, giving you one week from 21 Dec 2024 to determine whether you will honor my request for a refund for the poor quality sofa you sold me for $895. Your decision will be reflected here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This is by far one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with. If you have any issues, the number provided is for a customer service line only; there are no numbers that go directly to any particular store. If you want to speak directly to a store, you need to get some sort of managerial approval for it which is absolutely insane! AND they have to be the ones to call you back.

I recently purchased a bed frame from the headquarters in La Mirada. I ended up building it after the 7-day delivery period because I had moved to a different place. The associate who helped me was very pleasant. However, I SPECIFICALLY asked her if it came with the wooden slats; she confirmed that it did. She even upsold the warranty to me after I SPECIFICALLY asked if the warranty covered the wooden slats as well, if they were to break; she confirmed that it did! After I finally assembled my product, I noticed that the wooden slats did NOT come with the product, and after speaking to customer service, they informed me that a box spring was required for the bed frame I purchased. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she’d have to see if she can get approval for a manager to review my case, and if so, they would have to call me back; they could not provide a number to connect me directly to the store.

The manager ended up calling me back and I explained my situation to her. She then told me she could see which associate helped me and said she was “relatively new” and that bedding/sleep was “not her department.” I do NOT understand why I should be penalized for the misinformation/false advertisement of their employee. It’s complete robbery!

She then asked me to come in so she can connect me to someone who is from that department so they can show me some box springs I could purchase. Mind you, I previously had a box spring and got rid of it because I was told my purchase would come with wooden slats (which I also told the manager). She stated IF she’s able to get me a discount, it would only be 10% off a box spring, and their cheapest one is $330.

This company is filled with a bunch of liars and thieves, and their management is a complete joke. I will never purchase from here again and I do advise others not to as well. The fact that the manager acknowledged her employees mistake, yet refuses to offer any type of refund, exchange, or somewhat decent percentage off another required product due to misinformation, is extremely frustrating. You’re better off ordering...

I am writing to formally express my deep frustration with a recent experience at your Menifee location. What began as a positive shopping interaction on May 30, 2025, quickly turned into one of the most disappointing retail experiences I’ve ever encountered.

During my visit, I worked with a new associate (who was in training) and was assisted by another employee for the transaction. I specifically looked at only trundle beds and made the decision to purchase two that were clearly marked at $495 each. Unfortunately, the individual who completed my order mistakenly rang up the daybed version rather than the trundle bed I had selected.

I also paid for professional delivery and setup. Upon realizing the error when the items arrived, I contacted your customer service team but was unable to resolve the issue over the phone. I then returned to the store, only to be told that the trundle components were an additional $200 each.

I requested to be shown the showroom signage, as there was no indication during my initial visit that the trundle parts were priced separately. I then asked the store manager if any accommodation could be made, given the circumstances and the fact that I needed to purchase two additional components due to an error made by your staff. Her response—that the only offer available was free delivery—was not at all helpful, as I had already paid for delivery and setup.

To make matters worse, the employee who initially helped me provided me with blue mattress bags for pickup, but the delivery person later stated he was “doing me a favor” by picking up the mattresses. This felt unnecessarily condescending, especially given that I had followed the process outlined by your staff.

Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and unhelpful response from management have left me with no interest in shopping at Living Spaces again. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work on improving both customer service and internal communication to prevent this from...
