My husband and I went in on Sunday looking for a new washing machine, We just left Home Depot and were on our way to Lowes, when my husband said he read the reviews on Pro Appliances and the reviews were pretty good. We went in decided to buy a Samsung washer, the price was good. We wanted the washer to be delivered Monday, at 1st the office girl was not sure they could deliver that quick, since we were in need of a washing machine fast, my husband said he would just go to Lowes for a faster delivery. The office girl changed her mind and said they could deliver it on Monday- paper work done and we paid in cash. When we were outside getting ready to leave, the owner Mike came outside with us and we started talking, nice guy. He said he himself would be delivering the machine around 1pm Monday and would call when he was on his way. On Monday we have not heard from anyone by 2pm so my husband called Mike, it went to voicemail, he then called the office, the line just clicked and he was disconnected. Minutes later Mike called and apologized to my husband for not making it, he said he had a death in the family and had to go to the funeral. Mike said the machine would still be delivered today( Monday). Hours later, its now going on 6pm, my husband called Mike again and no answer, he calls the store and speaks to a woman, she explains the machine would be delivered Tuesday after 3pm- she explained Mikes uncle had passed away "yesterday" ? and had to go the the funeral today (Monday) my husband was not buying that and said the machine better be delivered Tuesday morning or he wanted his money back or he wanted the delivery fee back for the delivery now being on on Tuesday., she said she couldn't refund the delivery fee but they would be there Tuesday morning to deliver. Our machine was delivered at 11:20am. I am not a happy customer- the machine came dented and scuffed (see pictures) We are guessing the dents on top of the machine are from the store due to them stacking the machines on top of each other- the machine we bought had a dyer stacked on top of it in the store. The 1st picture of the large, long dent is pretty bad and I am sure the scuffs are from the moving process from the store onto their truck. I understand life happens, but for starters if you or your employees cannot make a scheduled delivery its good business to call your customers and let them know that the delivery is going to be late or rescheduled, not wait for the customer to call you, I don't believe that on Sunday Mike didn't know he had a funeral to attend on Monday, if we were informed of that ahead of time we would of understood. When we were outside with Mike, we told him we did read his reviews and because they were good is the reason we came into his store. He asked us to please give him a good review as well. Mike here is your review, its not good but its the truth. Again I am not happy that my brand new washing machine came with dents- I hope as a business owner you would make this right to make a customer happy. I would suggest giving us the delivery fee back. Mike also told us the few one star reviews he has are from his competitors, well I am not a competitor and I am a unhappy customer. Update: you call my husband and say your not going to treat other customers like you treated us? How does that help us Mike? Not once did you mention or apologize about the damaged washing machine. And you responding to my review in all CAPITAL LETTERS, your basically yelling at me, why are you mad at me? And to take the part out of my review re: "life happens" and just switch the words around just show you don't know customer service. And what am I to appreciate? Only thing was there was an honest mix up, and we were originally given the wrong fridge, we ended up picking up a fridge of the same brand and model that was there to be repaired for someone else. They had placed my fridge and the broken one side by side both with the (SOLD) label. My only recommendation is if you have a fridge there for repairs, don’t put it out on the show floor with the rest of the refrigerators that are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, the women who sold me the fridge was very nice, was willing to work within my price range, and we were able to get the correct fridge simply through an exchange.
