In N Out has been consistent over the years and makes a great burger without the fancy hype. The shakes are awesome, and I love the fries (though most people don't). The dining area is small compared to other places, but there are also a few outdoor tables.
This location will test your patience because of the long line in the drive-thru. But it's not always bad. The drive-thru has a system where the cones and signs are helpful. Only one way to enter the drive-thru is from Valley View Street. If you're dining in, I recommend parking near the Smart and Final lot if the small lot in INO is full.
My go-to order is a double-single, with whole sliced grilled onion and everything on it, chilies on the side, extra crispy fries, and a root beer or vanilla shake. If I'm feeling the need for low-carb, I'll make it protein-style. I enjoy customizing my burgers to my liking. I also get some yellow chili peppers (cascabella peppers) to enjoy with my burgers.
The main downside is the price increases over the past years. The No.1 Combo now costs over $10. It's a bummer, however, the service has been good, and orders were prepped...
Read moreThis was my wife and I first time at this location... the young man that was taking the orders was running back and forth directing the flow of cars in the line as well as taking down the precise orders of the customers. He was definitely out of breath but very friendly, also the person the completed our order was very friendly.. when my wife ask to speak with a manager the employee was very prompt to get a manager. The manager my wife spoke with was very friendly and ask what he help with. My wife just want to compliment p order taker in the line as well as the employee that completed the order and the manager as well on their well doing of their job especially the employee that was handling the orders in the line. Read moreThis restaurant is the first In N Out on our way home from Knott's park. Meals in the park are more than my food budget allows, instead we enjoy the park then stop by this restaurant on our way home. I look forward to bringing my family here because they always seem to toast my burger buns to the perfect crisp as well as my fries. No matter how long the drive thru line or the crazy amount of people ordering food, my meals are always cooked to perfection. Service is always swift and on-point... Not sure how they manage to feed everyone quickly and with military-like precision no matter how busy this place gets. My recommendation: If you enjoy perfectly toasted burger buns every time, then this location is the best choice for you. On very special occasions I order an off-the-menu 4X4 animal style if you never had one make sure you are hungry and get ready for a taste explosion the way only in-n-out...
