Decided to get my hair cut and colored last minute, I called in and they were able to get me in that day which was awesome!

Staff friendly, establishment clean, and overall a great experience.

I wanted to come on here and edit my review because what I wrote didn’t totally reflect my experience. I’ve spent the last two days praying my hair would grow on me and it hasn’t.

Before my hair was even done I was asked to make sure I leave a review. Which I responded with oh sure I’ll do that. However I was pressured to write the review at that moment by my stylist. (Again before my hair was even dried and I could see final product)

If you read my original review I wrote superficial things and nothing that stated liking my hair because truth is I don’t. She stood over me and watched me as I wrote review and I felt obligated to write what I did.

My hair looks nothing like the photos I had shown to the stylists that worked on my hair. When they asked if I wanted a “money piece” I told them I had that in the past and I hated it. They persisted and gave it to me anyways. My neck was sore after being left at the sink for an hour!

I was able to get in day of, which was nice and I did like the hair cut that I received.

However prices on their website didn’t reflect what I was charged in person. It was almost double the amount. I know prices can vary based upon length of the hair/how much products used… but my hair barely touches my shoulders and I know I shouldn’t have been charged so much. If what I was charge was honest, then they should update their website to reflect actual prices. I counted 3 other clients that my stylists were working on while doing me at the same time, which contributing to the fact that I felt rushed, talked over, and just another person to get in and out.

I have reached out to the salon via instagram and hoping they take steps to help resolve situation. Although hopefully I am skeptical they will respond so I am writing this review to warn others. I don’t recommend coming...

I walked in feeling hopeless after a botched haircut and highlights 😞 but Bahar, Shirin, and Sara worked their magic and completely transformed my hair.

From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and reassured me that they could help me (which I didn’t even know was possible considering what my hair looked like). They got me in for an appointment quickly, which I really appreciated given how desperate I was to fix the mess. They were even willing to take me on the spot and help me 🥺.

What really stood out to me, was how they handled the situation with such sensitivity. They took the time to explain the severity of my hair without making me feel bad or embarrassed. Two other consult left me CRYING. At Salon Plum, they noticed when I became overwhelmed. They were truly understanding of how important hair is to one's self-esteem and identity, and that made all the difference in making me feel comfortable and cared for.

Not only did they work together flawlessly to correct my hair, but they also did it at incredibly FAIR PRICING. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, especially given how desperate I was for a fix. It’s rare to find a salon that’s not only highly skilled but also genuinely honest and respectful of their customers’ needs.

They recommended that what was best for my hair. However, I wanted something a little different and they RESPECTED my wishes. They didn’t cut too much hair. They lightened it as much as they could in good conscience (because I INSISTED it be lightened). I honestly think I couldn’t have gotten a better result anywhere else.

Thanks to Bahar, Shirin, and Sara, I feel confident again. I highly recommend this salon for their expert care, kindness, and fair pricing. They’ve earned themselves a lifelong...

I had been using the services of this salon for a few months, and at first, Ms. Shirin,the owner, appeared to be friendly and professional. However, my experience eventually became very disappointing and frustrating. I noticed that the prices were changing every time, often with excuses like “extra styling” or “products used.” Since I trusted her, I never double-checked the prices in advance.

But during my last visit, I was charged nearly double the usual price for the same service. When I politely asked Ms. Shirin for an explanation, I didn’t receive a clear or respectful response. Instead of arguing, I decided to give the extra amount as a tip to the stylist who performed the service. After this, Ms. Shirin called me and spoke to me in an accusatory tone, suggesting that I didn’t want to pay, even though I had paid more than required.

From my experience, it seems that pricing in this salon is based on the customer’s appearance or how much the owner thinks she can charge, not on clear and consistent policies. Before booking, make sure to check the salon’s website and confirm all prices, even for basic services like washing or blow-drying, which may have extra charges without your knowledge.

I’m sharing this experience so others can avoid the same unpleasant situation. Before booking, be informed and cautious! ❌
