I had been a regular at Patsy's Irish Pub all growing up and into my mid 20s, here in this Center off Crown Valley, and Moulton/Golden Lantern . I liked the Dive/Dark customer base, but it is far different now,all Gentrified, especially the prices. I hadn't been here in years, but my GF and I both reminisced about eating at El Cortez, the restaurant next store. We had never been together and after 9months of planning to go here, we finally did. They were a little uncomfortable with our service dog sitting in the booth, but he legally needs to be close to his handler for medical reasons. The manager ACTUALLY said, if he was a smaller dog, it'd be okay. We were polite, and after mentioning the ADA laws(Discrimination against Disabled ppl) he allowed it. Not only was dinner GREAT and decently priced, but the opposite side of the center had apet store and they gave us a bunch of donated food and ramps Dogs with arthritis use to get up stairs and getting in cars/ on beds/etc Our dog also been successfully fighting lymphoma cancer over a year and It was a wonderful gesture. The man at the pet store remembered my GF who lost 2of her dogs last year, and he offered these amazing donated gifts. All this in the same spot center... We hit 711 afterwards(same center) got some water dinner drinks, and treats for Bandit, our Dog pup. The only thing that would make this Center cooler would be bringing back the donut shop and comic book store. Anyways, we seem to have a good time any time we're here and for those on the run nights, there a late night Wendy's drive...
Read moreI have been coming to the Grove at Laguna Niguel for many years, but until Covid was easing up, I used to park in the front. Because the restaurants were allowed to set up outdoor dining in the parking spaces, I started parking in the back. Several weeks ago when I came here, I noticed a really dangerous and concerning area in the asphalt. At first, since it was dusk, I didn’t realize what it was. When I saw huge chunks of concrete jutting up in the driveway, I stop short, backed up, and parked as far away from them as possible. I came again today, now, three weeks later, and see that this has neither been repaired nor are there cones to warn of this dangerous area. I am appalled that this is allowed to be here this long. Action needs to be taken...
