I Love Bagels — Restaurant in Laguna Niguel

I made 3 consecutive attempts to buy coffee and was astounded that all customer orders are prioritized by whether food was ordered while employees waited for bread to toast before helping the next in line. When I mentioned this to the owner/manager so that customer service would improve AND daily sales would increase he took offense, made an extremely insulting personal comment, told me, 'No coffee for you' and I haven't been back. As a hotel executive and a homeowner for 24 years and was appalled that a Laguna Niguel business operates with favoritism and xenophobic ownership. Beware if you're 'stranger' buying beverages only. They do customer service the old fashioned way, they make RELATIONSHIPS as GREAT as their BAGELS!! Whenever I’m in the area I will be visiting this place. Lovely owners, very kind people with fast and friendly service with a smile. They really care about customer service and go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. I wish I liked their actual bagels more (prefer the chewiness at other bagel shops) and I wish their eggs were made fresh with each breakfast bagel order like some other places.
