Oh My Sushi — Restaurant in Laguna Niguel

I began frequenting this establishment sometime in 2015 or so. I was directed there by an acquaintance who indicated that Oh My Sushi had great sushi and good customer service. I was hopeful because I had had about enough of Good Choice Sushi's lack of consistency and was in need of a solid new choice for sushi.

I became a frequent visitor and recipient of to-go orders. The sushi was of good quality and the customer service was overall decent; but not exceptional.

I moved from the area in 2020 and returned in 2022. I once again began visiting and ordering from Oh My Sushi; however, I noticed that the cut rolls were rather small and would often fall apart. An unfortunate change and degradation in the quality of the sushi I had previously grown to love.

Perhaps things will change. I have not written the place off as I have with Good Choice Sushi in Laguna Niguel; but I would really like to see a return to the quality I previously experienced if I were to return as a frequent patron of this...

One of my favorite sushi places in Laguna Niguel. We come here often and the food is amazing. We eat a lot of sushi and have tried many sushi places in OC. By far this is the best one. We were there the other day and ordered 3 dishes, Dragon, Crown Valley and Victoria. The service is good. They brought complimentary miso soup as our order took a bit long. The get a lot of take out order and between the Dine in and take out it gets busy. But the quality of the rolls are very good and delicious. It worth the wait. We do not mind the wait. We asked for extra ginger and they brought a lot of ginger without charging extra like some locations. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Dine in area is small so it gets full quickly if you want to dine in. It’s my go to sushi place for sure! There is plenty of parking...

I have eaten Sushi for over 40 years - been to some top notch places - Ichi Biri (back in the day) Gen Kai - Damu - Honan - Jizake - so many places.

I have not been happier and having very tasty sushi that going to OH MY SUSHI - with Master Sushi Chef Alex, his Wife Van, who runs both the restaurant and all of the TO GO orders - which there are a lot of… and their new Chef who came in December, Erylson - a passionate assistant to Alex’s talents.

Go place a to go order to get a small taste, but if you want a real treat, go in for lunch - or dinner (OR BOTH - HAHA) AND ENJOY YOURSELF.

FYI - they are closed on Monday, but you still have 6 other days to appreciate some great fooD! Happy...
