What a horrible experience I had placing an online order for a funeral over a week ago at this flower shop. A Christmas silk arrangement was sent instead of a funeral spray that I requested of red and white flowers for $100.00 from our church and staff in GA. The family took pictures of the arrangement which I saw, and was so embarrassed that I called the flower shop. The lady was so rude, and made all kinds of excuses, which made no sense. When I asked to speak to the manager she actually hung up on me. I was shocked! I immediately called back and no one would answer. I waited a couple of days and called and asked for the owner manager. She said he was not there, he was only owner by absentee. I asked for his email address, and she said in her rude voice once again, he didn’t have one. My husband’s entire family were in the floral business for over 30 years, and one sister still is in MI. We ran a shop for about 8 years, and we would never think of hanging up on anyone, unless we were threatened or cursed at. None of which happened. This lady never once apologized or tried to make things right. If they would re read their motto of pleasing customers and making sure of upmost satisfaction this hopefully would have never happened. I am not a confrontational person, but when someone is as rude, and mean as this lady, I intend to still get to the bottom of this by reaching Mr Art Lan , calling Teleflora which she put the blame on, and my credit card company. Read moreI grew up in the area and used them because they are close to my parents home. I ordered flowers for my mom for her birthday from the website because their phone system was a fax machine when I called. I am very upset.
1st reason- they called my mom and said she could not find her address in google and was by Hartville kitchen, she lives in Suffield and the flowers got delivered a day late. I was never contacted.
2nd reason - I received photos of the flowers from my parents today and it looks nothing like I ordered, once again never contacted. See photos
3rd reason -I called today and they blamed my mom for the late delivery because she could not give them directions, so no credit. I was never contacted.
4th reason - the vase I ordered was from Mother’s Day and they have not had them in stock for a long time. I said, “do you have the butterfly one from the website?” she said no, “we don’t have anything that is on our website, we don’t carry 1000 vases.”
Ok, first of all I am not the type of person to complain or return my food etc. but their customer service sucked. I understand that you may not have that vase I ordered or the flowers may vary but what was delivered looks nothing like what I thought for the price I paid. I was never notified or asked what I would like my mom to receive.
So in the long run if my mom takes her flowers back to them I can get a refund. How messed up is that? Sorry mom but I want my money back, so can you take that gift I bought you back to...

May I see them I replied she said they're in the back in the employees area like are these flowers top secret flowers or something. I replied with well every other flower shop around allows you to go into the cooler. The lady replied well those 5 in the front cooler are all you can choose from. Mind you the cheapest was 25 for a rose with greenery and a mum. Like no ill pick my own flowers out for my bouquet. I wouldn't waste my time from the reviews they just send an automated message without ever rectifying the situation or actually changing their procedures to accommodate the customer. Go to Country Flowers in Hartville. When you ask to see the flowers in the cooler you won't be looked at like you're dumb.
