They have locations on rt 44 and rt 619, which is the one I usually visit. It's a cash only business so don't expect to use your debit card there. Their ice cream is homemade and they always have 6-8 flavors that change as they run out of one and add another. The fruity and nutty flavors always have lots of chunks of the real thing. No artificial flavors that fade away after a couple of bites! The cone sizes are generous and it's funny to see first time customers order a 'large' and then say something like 'wow, that's huge! I had no idea a large was that big!' There are lots of sundae toppings too and you can choose the flavor of ice cream for your personal taste. No extra charge for whipped cream and chopped nuts on top! They have Facebook posts for each location which show the current flavors of ice cream and their business hours which change as summer moves into fall. The flavors change every few days and its like finding out what you get under the tree on xmas morning. They have 2 locations, however in my opinion, the stand on Rt 44 is the best! However, they do have a good selection of ice cream and frozen treats after miniature golf in the hot sun. I would recommend it over something like dairy queen but Strickland's is still the best. They leave the order window closed most of the time (I assume to keep the cold air in) but it feels weird trying to get their attention if someone isn't right there at the window.
