I usually go over to the back of the park to walk my dog and let him run around. The very front of the part have signs posted, "no dogs allowed", so we don't walk there. I guess since the baseball diamond is there and the seating. Unfortunately too many pet owners don't curb their dogs. This bewilders me. None the less, the park is always nice and clean. There were a lot of tree branches down, I guess because of the strong winds we have had lately. The grass is always cut low. Read moreI feel safe and welcomed at Mt. Greenwood Park. I walk there occasionally with my 1 year old grandson. When I walk most people greet me with, "Good morning". I think the only thing that needs to be enforced is curbing the dogs. I rolled over some dog poo on the walk way and it was frustrating. They do have signs up about curbing dogs, but I guess some people think that's not there responsibility. Read moreIt's a fun park for the kids, but you have to keep an eye on little ones, as they could easily fall down the hill. Always lots of kids here, so lots of friends for them to play with and it's usually very clean. There's also plenty of benches and round picnic-like tables to sit at while watching your kids play.
