If you want to walk around with green muddy hair come see Debbie at this Salon. I came in wanting an auburn hair or something similar to reddish brown hair. Debbie recommended I get something brown instead because she said it would last longer. My roots have grown a very dark brown and I told her that I wanted it to look close to my natural hair color. We agreed on dark brown. Then she said she did something similar to her niece a couple weeks ago where she had blonde hair and wanted to go dark. I said ok. I will leave it up to you if you think that looks good. We agreed on level 5 brown and she said she will make it look like balayage where some blonde will still peak through. My hair turned out muddy green and she even said it herself at the salon. She said it must be something the old hairdresser put in my hair and for some reason it would not take the color she put in it. I told her I was not happy with it. She blamed it on me for not understanding how colors work and what the previous hair dresser I went to 5 months ago why my hair had some "ash" tones in it. OK so if she knew exactly that my hair has ash tones in it? Why proceed to make a formula that would make it muddy green? Then she tried to blame it on me that I don't know and I don't understand color. I guess she forgot that I said ok, if you think it looks good let's do what you think is best. I'm not the one who mixed in the formula. And if she knew exactly what to do, shouldn't she know that you need to fill in blonde hair first with red or orange because blonde has blue tones in it before dumping brown on it? I researched this after going to her. You cannot just dump brown on very blonde bleach hair. You need to fill it first. She can't admit that she doesn't know that. Not only she would bounce back with two other different clients and give someone a pedicure and a manicure then come back and touch my hair. Imagine scrubbing all someones dead skin off their feet and she basically put it in my hair. no she wasn't wearing gloves or washed her hands either. Oh and I also walked out of the salon with hair dye all over my hair line and I had to scrub it off when I got home so it wouldn't stain my skin. I wait three days after washing it hoping it would be better it didn't. I called her and expressed to her how upset I am nicely. And asked her if she can do something to fix my hair. I told her I get it that sometimes hair can be unpredictable and I told her that I'm sure she didn't intend to make it look green. But the problem is that it did. Whatever she put in my hair made it green. She said she wants to charge me another $25. And she will cover it with something really dark. For $25 piss an unhappy customer even more. Instead of eating it and making them happy so they will continue to come back? Keep in mind I pay always over $100 to get my hair done. I guess keeping customers is not a priority to her. Worst customer service ever!! Please please stay away from...
Read moreMy husband and I retired in 2017 and moved from Westerville to Indian Lake. The lady who was doing my nails was wonderful and I had been going to her since we were both in our twenties, about 30 years. I continued to drive to Gahanna for a few months but when winter and icy roads happened I knew I needed to find a closer nail salon. I called a few around Bellefontaine but wasn’t feelin’ it. My husband suggested Salon Expo, he had driven by it and thought it looked nice. When I called it was after hours and I planned on leaving a voice mail for a call back. Imagine my surprise when someone answered. It was one of the owners working after hours. I explained my situation and Deb went out of her way to listen and pair me with someone she thought I would be comfortable with. From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable. Everyone was very kind and friendly, great atmosphere. My nails looked great and their prices are very reasonable. The have tons of polish choices regular and gel. In addition to their normal product they have a wonderful new product called dream gel that’s all natural. It’s a much lighter product on your nails and I love that it’s better for your nails. After only 2 fills/balance with this product my cuticles look so much better and my nail regrowth does too! The salon offers several services. Give them a try, you won’t be...
Read moreWhen I went on the day of my appointment I went with my friend and she got right in. I had to wait about 15 minutes before I got started on mine. The lady that got paired with me I could hardly understand her and she didn't seem to understand me either. Her English was not very good. Once we finally got started she couldn't really do what I was asking her to do and had some other lady finish me up. I wouldn't of left the salon with my nails looking the way they did if I wasn't late to work already. Once I got home that night I started looking at them more closely and it had already looked like my real nails started growing out.She did a really poor job at putting on the acrylics. If I could of went back the following day I would of but I ended up going back two days later. I went in with no appointment I showed the guy my nails and they got me in and fixed them at no charge. It took a little while to get done which is to be expected since I was a walk in. Overall I'm happy with my nails after my second trip, most of the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was good too. I would go back to get my nails done here again as long as I'm not put with the lady I...
