I don’t get eyelash extensions but get hair extensions. I love them Marlene is awesome! She’s thorough and very informative on what will look best for you. I have the messages update March 2018 I had my first keratin fusion extensions placed. Loved it I mean fell completely in love. Tried setting up a follow up in April, just to make sure all was perfect she stated some people never come back and they are knotted, I had lost one bond. She completely disregarded me I never had the follow up set up. She never responded back. Thought ok she’s busy. So forward to August 1 2018 I messaged her due to my hair not feeling thick she made it seem like she cared saying that too much time with them has passed I should have came in.....yada yada how many bonds have I lost. I only lost one from March 13 to August 1, only lost one bond she was amazed. I never use heat I braid my hair and I don’t wash everyday and I use the shampoo and conditioner she stated to use Pureology hydrate. So I went in August 4 she removed and placed new extensions I was supposed to have my hair dyed but she didn’t have time. Messaged Later that day, I had worked a long shift and when I went in for my appointment I was on zero sleep, I was even falling asleep as she was doing my hair. So later that same day I messaged her stating it felt thinner than the first time I wanted more hair basically I wasn’t happy, she disregarded me said she straightened my hair that’s why it felt thin, yet the first time she straightened my hair it didn’t feel like this. She said after first wash if I still want more to message her but that she would order another bundle. Ok so August 6 I had an interview, she stated she would basically message me to book something for the following week ( she never texted me). She was going out of town so I knew she was gone and time went on. I lost hair I wasn’t happy at all the 700-900 bucks I spent was basically a waste. So around august 10-27 I said oh well I will see someone else I call she’s back...so they tell me to contact her. I message letting her know I’ve lost over 8 bonds hasn’t been a month, I haven’t done anything different than the first time and remember the first time from March to August I only lost one bond, she states I am basically using bad products and losing hair is normal, she states I’m using wrong shampoo yet it’s the one she recommended to use & I don’t use bad products, states if i lose more let her know and she will get me in. I did let her know the first day I wasn’t happy, let her know like 2 weeks after I lost hair I am not happy. She hasn’t contacted me at all since. Highly doubt if she spent almost $1000 on her hair and she was being ignored made to feel like she did something wrong when in fact she didn’t highly doubt she would be happy. I feel when a person is spending more than 500$ on something I think a little more heart, understanding, thought and care should be given to the customer. At least truly listen. It’s been a little over a month and I hate it I’ve continued to lose more hair but I will not be wasting my money at that place ever again. When a person ignores you once as a paying customer go with your gut make a complaint if you aren’t satisfied don’t waste more than 400 at a place if you don’t feel they are really listening and understanding you as a person. If I could get my money back I would, if I could give a zero I would. Not sure how many bonds come in a bundle but I bought 3 bundles, and I have around 40 bonds. That’s not right at all not even 2 months after. I removed them and rubber banded the hair. Don’t waste your time and money go to true professionals where the reviews are on hair extensions not eyelash extensions. Hurt my pocket and my hair was thin the reason I went in the first place and now I have half of the hair I originally thought was thin. Wasn’t told I would feel damn near bald if and when I got them removed. None of my hair got pulled out I used an oil and pliers to smash the bonds no alcohol spray...

4-13-18:: I couldn’t add another review because i guess when u do one that’s your limit. I was there yesterday and was not happy at all like i was the first time. I had Paola and didn’t get the same experience i did with BAMBI. First i asked for the cat eye ...the SAME THING I HAD BEFORE....when i look at the lashes all are the same length and not done as i asked. It’s clearly not the same. Then she has her phone next to my head and it’s constantly kept going off during my session vibrating which was super annoying when it’s that close to your face. She kept answering the phone and texting then literally got up over 5x to do “something” during my appointment. How do i know she wasn’t touching a bunch of stuff in between whilst then goin back and working on my eyes? Why was ur phone a priority during my fill? I felt she didn’t listen to what i asked and her focus was not me for the hour i was there she just wanted me done and out. My review below still stands with Bambi.

(2.5 weeks prior) Yesterday was my first time doing my lashes at Chicago Lashes. I worked with BAMBI and let me tell u i was soooo in love with my lashes it was crazy....she was very detailed and made my eyes look amazing...I’m def going back to her. I’m sure the other girls are great as well! Def a great price....let’s see how long...

Do you want perfect, long lasting, eyelashes? Chicago lashes is the place to go! I have never been to an eyelash salon that has been so accommodating and understanding of the consumer's needs. I was able to make an appointment for a full set of eyelashes 48 hours beforehand. James (the receptionist) was not only friendly, but he was very informative about the salon's policies. (They hold your CC information on file- for a short notice cancellation fee).

The salon itself is decorated beautifully. The girls working there all said good morning to me and the woman who took care of me (Moon) was SO sweet! She and I consulted for a few minutes about the type of eyelashes I wanted. I laid back on the super comfy table, and drifted asleep while she was working on me (that's how relaxing and soothing this place is). I woke up eventually to find out that my eyelashes were complete. I fell in love with them immediately!!! Moon gave me very specific instructions on how to maintain them properly. I walked out feeling gorgeous! Parking was a breeze too. Definitely recommend...
