I wouldn’t recommend catering from here, but dine-in is enjoyable (assuming you’re solo, service for 2+ people isn’t good). I requested that the catering order be picked up 1.5-2 hours later than expected. I reached out to the Catering Sales Manager (Stephanie) and the restaurant regarding this. Because of working hours, Stephanie’s out-of-office email indicated the restaurant could take care of the time change. It took several attempts to get ahold of the restaurant (as usual), and when I finally got ahold of someone, I was told the time change wouldn’t be an issue. It ended up becoming an issue. Written below is the same email I sent to Stephanie after she asked how everything went:
“I contacted the restaurant directly, and after 4 attempts, I finally got ahold of someone. The woman on the phone said she would relay my message to the catering team. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as I received a call from a very annoyed team member at 2:45PM on the day of pick up asking why I hadn’t picked up my food. There was also a lot of confusion in picking up my order, as the receipt provided did not reflect what I ordered. My father had to call me and confirm, item by item, in front of the staff, what I had ordered. The staff had no clue what I had ordered because of the botched receipt, and because I placed the order, my father also did not know what he needed to pick up.
The restaurant itself is fantastic, but after this hassle, it’s unlikely I’ll be catering from Frasca for my upcoming events and will not recommend this restaurant as a place to order from. Most people involved were rude. I dine in frequently and it’s upsetting to see such a difference in quality of service.”
Stephanie was helpful and professional in assisting me with the order, but she has not yet responded to my email.
I would recommend finding a different restaurant...
Read moreHonestly, Frascas is just amazing, no other way to describe it! I didn't get a chance to catch the names of the host and hostesses, but they where all so kind and friendly. It was a super packed night but they worked hard to get people seated, either finding them seats at the bar or getting people seated at their table. I wish I caught her name but one host especially, she was blond, even went out of her way to try to check if there where any seats opening at the bar for my friends and I. We then actually managed to get seats and our server, I believe her name was Dayle was so sweet and personable. Highly recommend her! She was fast, efficient, friendly and checked in with us regularly. My two friends and I were all super impressed by how great the service was! Really cannot say enough compliments!
And that was just the service. The food was also amazing! We all got the Restaurant Week menu, which featured your choice of Aperol Spritz or Sangria, an appetizer, entree (we all chose pizza), and dessert. Absolutely delicious and the sangria was a full extravagant glass. We chatted, laughed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! My butcher plate as an appetizer was a beautiful spread. My pizza was delicious, balanced and had a chewy crust. And my Limonchello cheesecake was the perfect way to end the meal. Then it was super fast and easy to check out.
The first time I went to Frasca, I remember also having such wonderful service. This second visit just solidifies me as a...
Read moreWe ate here frequently before the pandemic and just went for the first time last night - happily it’s just as good as before. The Hendrick’s martinis were perfectly made and ice cold. We started with a big board that you can build yourself, including several different type of bruschetta (the mushroom or white bean + anchovies were delicious). They use high quality meats and cheese on their boards, so ask for recommendations - they know their ingredients. We also had delicious meatballs in a nice thick marinara sauce. We finished by splitting a delicious Caesar salad (note to kitchen: the croutons were not good - no crunch at all - more like stale bread. This was my only complaint). The place was hopping on a Tuesday night, but not jammed so walk-ins were seated right away. There is also a large bar where you can eat (this was usually our choice in the past). This is a great place for wood-fired pizzas and you can build your own, which I love (just had pizza so we skipped). They know how to cook these pizzas and the ones coming out and flying by our table were cooked perfectly. The staff - as usual - were prompt and very friendly. We’re very happy to include this place in our local rotation again as we start to live “normally”. This is also a nice place to bring parents or friends from out of town - the sound level seems improved as I remember it being louder. There are nice roomy booths as well as the bar and...
