American Aid Society Oktoberfest — Local services in Lake Villa

First time at Oktoberfest. The music was great. Nice people and atmosphere. Parking attendants directing traffic and parking in a grass lot. Everything was purchased through a ticket system. German drinks and tap beers. Festive indoors and out. Thought the food kind of sucked. The pretzels were overcooked and hard to eat. The buns for the bratwurst were really dry. Schnitzel bites didn't look anything like the photo and was basically a few crumbs in a small bowl. The strudel was nice. If I attended again, I think I would eat beforehand. Meh, visited for their annual Oktoberfest and I'm sure it's a daunting task to do so. However, it would seem they might learn from past events how they could improve.

No directional signs where to buy tickets for food, where on the grounds to buy the food. How to exit the parking lot. If leaving during the fest one must drive reverse of how one came in. Have to wait for the parking people to stop inbound traffic.
