The Game Station — Local services in Lake Wales

Very friendly people there to be nerdy with. The owner is pretty nice, for the two times I've met him. He wants to make sure everyone feels safe. There's a schedule for different games. It can be a problem for people who work odd hours, but it's nice that it's not completely random. You can buy snacks and drinks there. Most of the competitions cost a fee to play (usually $5-$10) but I'd personally say it's worth it. I believe they have a calendar on their Facebook page and discord. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put the links here, but they'll likely give them to you if you come.

The store is basically reliant on one family to attend their events. If they don’t show the store event is a no go. The first event I did here was supposed to be a Lord of The Rings prerelease but when I arrived there was no preparation for the event they registered on WotC. The owner then asked the father of this family if they felt like doing the prerelease event. I hope you all can clearly see how that creates their issues...
