Mendo Mill & Lumber Co — Local services in Lakeport

So far the staff was not so customer friendly, we went to buy a product that in the shelf was a certain price but when purchased it was a different price. We went to ask and the area that we received the product was an over product shelf. There was no sign that said it was over product and the price that was on that sign meant “nothing at all”. Therefore spending more than needed. 8/10

Additionally, the staff in the section in charge is very tremendously rude and inconsiderate about others including my uncle post war veteran, they are super rude and think they know it all. Leaving me with trauma knowing if I ever want to shop with them again! Is this the service that you provide for those? Is us not the rule that the customers are always right (smiley face), yet they are doing the opposite with an angry face! Before you snap at a person know your area first and make sure you are aware of your products and the service you provide. This is why I would rather drive to Ukiah 45 minutes to go...

Perhaps I was a little hard on them. It is just like that other hardware place but ... Not quite. I thought losing $5 at the casino was traumatic, but this could be more extreme than even that. I dont belive I was cool enough to shop here I also forgot my debit card so I had to wait longer, no matter it just brightened the experience since another person did too and we both seemed equally offput .. But they sorta tried to help but once told me nope ypu cant do it and kinda looked at me like ok go now and im like im mull over it for a minyte fhsn ill go. I was afraid i would be put out of the stote for unapproved unmatched items or something. Oh no we cant allow you to buy this with that, thats only sold with this but if you want to pay a bunch extra you can buy the whole thing and then you can get the $1.50...

Mendo Mill and Lumber Company / Ace is a great place to get the goods you need. Everytime I walk in I'm always greeted with a smile. The manager there is always willing to help. Even when the power dropped they stayed open and walked around with people holding flashlights so the could get what they needed. It's the things like this that help a community grow and stay strong. I would rather shop here rather than Home Depot Or Lowe's any day. Those places treat their employees like a number and the employees treat you the same. The employees at Mendo Mill are obviously much happier and willing to help. Good job y'all. I would go out of my way...
