Haunted Lake County — Local services in Lakeport

This has to be one of the best independent haunted attractions I’ve ever walked through. The actors collaborate and give all their energy to their performance, creating a truly terrifying environment. And the set design is super creative, detailed, and immersive, telling a consistent story and makes you forget where you actually are. There was even an “elevator” experience to get into the maze that really sells it, and all their staff that greets you at the line and sells tickets are in-theme as characters in makeup and costume. I have been to A LOT of haunted houses and this one far exceeded my expectations! The cast was convincing, engaging and did not let up on the scares for a second. There were contortionists who truly looked possessed (I don’t know how they were able to get their bodies into some of those freaky positions!). The props were detailed and beautifully disturbing. Mostly just jumpscares, but really well done ones in an incredible environment, with great character acting and structural horror. Had to leave early because my partner had a panic attack. Actors were helpful, and they had I think an emt on hand with a service dog that was very helpful. apperantly they have a no scare hour during daylight at 5-6. I didn't even finish it, and 10/10,...
