Disappointing experience at the store but worse when CVS manager called. My special needs daughter had an ear infection. The script was $178.00. I asked the pharmacist to call my pediatrician for a generic or another less expensive script. The pharmacist pushed back. I also asked to please run an online coupon to make the $178.00 script less expensive. Again, pushed back and would not help me. I left feeling discouraged and defeated. I did not fill the script. Then the CVS manager called my home. She was defensive and escalated the situation. I couldnât even describe my experience without the manager using agreumentive language. I was shocked by the call and finally told the manger I was ending the call and hanging up. My pediatricianâs office called me back and said Target CVS would not accept my new prescription and Iâd need to have it filled elsewhere. (Which I was planning to go to my normal pharmacy/pharmacist which is a CVS off Dodd Road. I will not be using the Target CVS again). I would not recommend the CVS inside Target to any of my friends. They are understaffed and are never given the opportunity to catch up on their backlog! The District manager is horrible and all complaints need to go to her, not the poor employees who have to follow her directions! For anyone having an issue with wait times, call District manager Lisa and complain! She is the reason they are behind and will never catch up! However, the website also won't let me cancel or reschedule it because it has to be within a certain time frame? I literally can't move the date back two days because the system won't let me.
