This Target is unfortunately very much catered towards drive up and pick up customers. Over the past 6 months or so, produce is lacking, the aisles are filled with Target employees zooming up and down to fulfill online orders placed and don't have the time or consideration to move for in store shoppers or say excuse me. At one point the self check out changed to 10 or less items but they only had a few lanes opened so what should have been a quick check out is now waiting 3 full cart loads deep, so this only encouraged me to buy less. Thankfully that new policy did not last. Many items on the Target app say certain prices are available "when purchased online only", but then the only options to get the item is pick up or drive up, which means waiting at least 2 hours when I live 10 minutes away or sometimes in the store. Today, I purchased a wagon stroller online, only to go to the store to find out it in fact was not in stock. The employee who was looking up my order first could not find my name and asked me if I had a different name as if I didn't know my own first and last name. Then when we figured out it was not in stock, there was no "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" or "Let me find a nearby store that is in stock", there was literally nothing except to say, "it's not on our shelves". So then I went back and bought a slightly different version of the wagon stroller, purchased online so I could use a 20% coupon from the app. Again, my only option was pick up or drive up, so I chose pick up, thinking that because I was in the store I could grab it and have them scan it to show it had been picked up. When I went back to the same unhelpful customer service employee, he informed me there is no way to look up the pick up order by name or number, so I would have to cancel it, and purchase it again and have the 20% manually taken off. Just ridiculous the hoops that have to be jumped through in order to make purchases at Target, and all with very little...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe remodel is great. However, today's shopping experience was an absolute headache. It seemed as though every aisle had huge dolly carts with people stocking items. I couldn't find a single clear aisle to re-route down. This can become a hazard as one stock dolly cart was stacked so high with boxes, as I passed, the box on top fell off nearly hitting my newborn. The employee saw but rolled his eyes as though I was the problem. The produce section was a nightmare with people stocking in every direction. At one point there was like a 4 way stop between customers lined up trying to get around the stock crew. Then you have people handing out samples...there's just no room!! It's already madness on the weekend but I noticed since the remodel every day seems chaotic. Today 5 items on my receipt were priced wrong because they were put in the wrong place (it wasn't just randomly put there, there were 15 in one spot). So the label of the product is correct, it's just the wrong price....$4.99 but on receipt $15.00....that quite the error. So many things are always missing. Not sure why they can't keep up with stock, when they are everywhere stocking. The employees seem like they hate their lives. I asked where an item was and the employee was like "I'll help you just stay here." So I waited and waited and after 10 minutes I tried finding someone else. They see you and they literally avoid you like the Black Plague knowing you might need help with something. I understand how the remodel may have created some changes with the staff and they may be overwhelmed. I love target and will continue to shop but I hope management addresses...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei shop at this target all the time. They recently went through a remodel and with that now have security guards that wear fancy uniforms. There was a women security guard whom was watching my children and i in the toy section but she was putting items back so i didnt think anything of it. It had been a long day for me and as a mother of 4, i was not dressed up that day, hair in a bun and work out clothes on. My 3 year old daughter is in love with Peppa Pig and wanted this clearance toy that she placed in the lower level of the cart. As we checked out, as anyone with children would know, that was the first item on the belt. Once it was rang up, it was placed back underneath the cart. we proceeded to check out and then head towards the door where we were followed by security whom stopped up to check our receipt. The lady whom was watching us at the toy aisle stated she didn't think we paid for the peppa pig under the cart. as i am humiliated in front of many by standers i show them my receipt to prove we in fact paid for it. My children asked why they had done that as they even felt the embarrassment. I feel as if they did it because i was Spanish. It is sad this took place and not only was i embarrassed but my children as well. I have thought about bringing this to the attention of...
