My mother was a resident at the Bridges Community for four months before her recent passing, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care she received. The staff at Arbor Terrace is, without a doubt, the most compassionate and dedicated group I have ever encountered in any healthcare or caregiving setting. From the start, the caregivers went above and beyondânot just for my mother but for our entire family. Many even shared their personal phone numbers with me, offering updates and reassurance about how Mom was doing. When my mother passed away, the staffâs genuine care was profoundly evident. One gesture that stands out to me came from Rogelio, a young caregiver, who brought roses for my mother during her final days. His kindness and thoughtfulness were an example of the level of care and compassion that Arbor Terrace gave my Mom daily. The administrative staff was equally exceptional. Penny, the head of Arbor, was always available and willing to help. When I encountered an issue with the bathroom not being cleaned, she personally came to the room and ensured it was addressed immediately. It never became an issue again. Lori, the head of staff, maintained open communication with me, always making sure our needs were met and providing invaluable support. The maintenance team, especially Rich, also deserves special recognition. He consistently went above and beyond to help us, whether it was mounting items, taking things to the dumpster, or offering a friendly hand with any request. His warm and helpful attitude made every interaction a pleasure. One of the standout aspects of the Bridges Community is the incredible stability of their staff. Unlike other facilities where high turnover disrupts continuity of care, Bridges has a dedicated team that clearly loves their work. Throughout our time there, we saw the same familiar facesâa comfort not only to us but also to the residents. The staff genuinely looks out for the residents, fostering a warm and caring environment where everyone feels seen and valued. A special mention goes to Belinda, one of the kindest caregivers I've met. She always took the time to bring my mother her favorite cup of coffee and made sure she was comfortable, setting her up in a recliner to watch movies. Belindaâs thoughtful attention to my momâs comfort showed the true heart of the Bridges Community. I would also like to acknowledge the lovely ladies at the front desk. They were always so sweet and welcoming, making every visit a little brighter. I will especially miss their smiling faces that greeted us each time we arrived. Their warmth and kindness were felt every single day. The Bridges Community also offers a well-thought-out array of activities for residents with memory challenges, including bingo, movies, trivia, and crafts. While my mother couldnât participate in many of these due to her disabilities, she truly enjoyed the sense of community. Unlike other facilities where residents may remain isolated in their rooms, Bridges fosters a warm, communal atmosphere where residents spend time together, creating a supportive and social environment. The building itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated that the memory care section wasnât hidden behind obvious locked doors or labeled as a "neighborhood," as Iâve seen in other places. My mom had previously been in a fancier, more expensive facility nearby with that kind of setup, and she resisted going behind the locked doors. At Bridges, she didnât even noticeâeverything just felt like another welcoming hallway. This subtle design choice helped her feel more at ease, preserving her dignity and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bridges Community at Arbor Terrace to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive memory care for their loved one. Knowing my mother was surrounded by such love, dignity, and kindness in her final months is a comfort I will...

The dining experience at Arbor Terrace is something to rave about. The food is not your typical "senior living" fare; it's restaurant-quality cuisine that's both delicious and nutritious. The culinary team deserves special recognition for their creativity and attention to detail. They cater to various dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a satisfying meal.

Read moreMy mom has lived in Arbor Terrace Lakeway since Feb, 2024. I wanted to wait several months before submitting a review to see how my mom settled in. My mom is currently living in the Assisted Living side, but due to the progression of her dementia and mobility issues, we are going to move her over to the Bridges Memory care side.
I cannot say enough good things about the director, Penny Reider and the staff. They are all compassionate and professional about their jobs. Teresa and Alex were wonderful helping get my mom settled when she first arrived. Dana and Stacey work very hard to have lots of fun events, exercise, movies, and games for the residents in Assisted Living. We love the front desk workers, Mel, Penne, Kathy, and Daya because they are so helpful with any questions and really try to get answers. My mother loves all the aides and med techs. They are wonderful - too many to name. I also have a camera in my mom's room and the couple times I watched the staff were very kind and helpful with her. They really care!! That is one of the differences with Arbor Terrace, the amount of good staff and aides they have to help the residences is more than most other facilities we have visited or heard about.
The maintenance director, Rich, is amazing and really gets things done. The cleaning crew are great and the facilities are very clean.
My mom loves the food and we ate there for a couple of special events. The mother's day meal was fabulous and the staff made us feel like we were in a fancy restaurant. Tim the chef is amazing and his staff are the best!
Most of the other residents really enjoy being there which makes my mom feel like she surrounding by good people. Penny came up with a plan to have my mom transition to the memory care side during the day to meet other residents and feel comfortable before moving her room there. Donna and Andrea make it real fun and engaging on the memory care side for the residents. My mom said she doesn't mind going over to memory care, which is huge.
Once a month, Lori (director of memory care) and Penny hold a support group for family members of residents with memory issues. I find this support group really helpful to learn more about how I can better...
