I have been a customer of this store since 2002 , Today I went to get some beef for Chili to cook for my family , upon looking at prices for ground chuck at $4.59 a lb. for 75 lean 25 fat..which is just expensive! There were 2 packs of beef that were browning and needed to be sold today or it would be to late...we if I'm paying that price I'm not buying those packs when I can get the fresher packs...So I asked butcher if he could reduce the price for packs that needed to be cooked today, and he was very rude and said no way not reducing anything...hmmm ok. So I found manager and talked to him about it to see if he might want to sell them before it was to late...He went and checked it out , came back and said he could not discount them and he was taking them off shelf to give to food bank! And refused to help me at all , so I decided not to buy anything there and drove to Walmart found great ground beef for 3.23 per pound and bought the rest of my supply's there which I spent a 100.00 that I would have spent at Winn dixie.

This winn dixie holds us hostage cause of its location here in the park...no longer will I go here if I can help it way over priced! As well just heard the great news that Publix will be building a store on indrio and emerson. So excited! It will be here soon and this winn dixie will feel the pain and lose employees cause they take care of theirs unlike this winn dixie...So long Winn dixie in lakewood park...if I have to I will drive to Walmart or even other Winn dixie on Oslo which is a way better store! So much for...

Best Winn Dixie in the tri county area. It's fully remodeled so it takes a minute to find some things but that is not an issue when you realize it's literally neck and neck with Publix ( but so much cheaper).

Snowbirds, you can check your attitude at the door or leave because I promise you there isn't a store in the area where you will find the price value and courtesy that this store has.

Yes, if you can't tell, the complaining these folks out there make because the store was improved but the peanut butter is on an open isle is ridiculously annoying and I'm tired of it. The staff is there to help and most customers don't mind helping eachother either. Word to the wise- show up with an attitude and then blame the staff because you're miserable you're bound to get less than great anything because you expect to receive it before you open your mouth!!!

Lakewood Park has it so good with this grocery and people like Wiiiam (manager) Keith, (self check out ) and Elsie (florists) and Ricardo (cashier) go over the top to make sure you can get what you need and then some. XXX you guys take so much abuse and smile every day. That's why I...
