Arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday. Three people, 4 beers, 1 wine, 1 app, 3 sandwiches - $112 w/18% tip
TL;DR - The food is good, the portions are big but the ''service'' is amateur hour.
We got there at exactly 6:30 to a fully seated restaurant with about 15 people standing around right inside the doors, hovering over 4 separate tables while we waited for a spot to open - not be seated - so we could acquire a table.
After the woman bussed the table directly in front of us over the course of 5 minutes, since there are no bussers (or bus bins) in sight we sat down with the rest of the crowd standing 2 feet from my back.
We sat down and a friendly young lady came over and told us how we have to go up to the register to order, but she would get us our drinks. Mind you, there are no drink menus for their extensive list of drinks so I was forced to get up and go look at their chalk board menus behind the bar. Why offer service for the first round of drinks if I have to get up and walk over to the bar to see what you have to sell anyway?
Stood at the bar for about 5 minutes before someone was able to help me, since they were doing all the stuff waiters and bussers should be doing.
During this time one of the other guests in my party came up to me and told me what everyone else wanted to order. I've been a waiter, so I was able to remember it all without a pad. After standing online for about another 5 minutes or so I was able to get our orders in and return to my table.
The food took 45 minutes to come out, it was all burgers and subs, with one appetizer. A couple dishes and the appetizer were pretty much cold, not surprisingly. There were no utensils or napkins on the table, had to go get those from the bar also.
During that 45 minutes I witnessed people waiting to be seated bussing tables. I witnessed the drink-bringers holding 4 or 5 drinks in their arms, and their hands all over the lips of the glasses since there was not a single serving tray in sight. This also happened to our table when we reordered our drinks. By the way, the tables have number placards that are constantly changing. I have no idea why that's a thing as I saw the severely understaffed food-bringers wandering around the place looking for a table. Guys, this is not a thing.
I get that maybe the owners were going for some new concept or something, but this is definitely not it. This is not a restaurant, its a cafeteria. How much do I tip? The defaults are 18%-25%? Why would I tip anywhere near that?
My suggestions would be to ditch this concept for a regular one. Servers and bussers - they're already doing 80% of the work anyway! This was NOT a relaxing dining experience. Ditch the table placards and set table numbers that you teach to the new servers. Get a divider so people waiting to be seated are not breathing down the necks of 20 guests. Move the fussball table, couch and chairs to the front of the restaurant where they could act as a divider/area for guests waiting to be seated to hang out. Drink menus. Take out menus. Having half a dozen people waiting to order, right next to the pass is a recipe for disaster.
I will be back but it will not be during peak times, and probably...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery neat looking inside, seems like a typical bar/ grill but it's new so everything is clean and new looking, the ordering is a bit different you sit at table and scan over menu, then go to bar to place order and go sit back down.. this would get really confusing with a larger table order.. I ordered the buffalo wings which was a version of what buffalo wings should be and the sauce is what ruined it for me because I like the standard buffalo hot sauce you find at most places.. my wife ordered a Cuban sandwich and the first bite she said was incredible..after getting into the sandwich a fish taste came into the sandwich.. I tasted it for verification and it it did seem to have a strong fish taste. Maybe cross contamination? I also ordered a beer, a girl came back and said it will be a few minutes they had to change the keg.. I quickly switched up to Miller in bottle, she brought me the bottle and a half full glass of beer and said she forgot to stop the first order and said no charge... When I paid the bill I didn't notice the 7 dollar beer charge for the glass- I think the place has potential but likely never to return... The fried are the best I've ever had but the place is so expensive to try to see if anything is truly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy best friend and I were visiting some friends in Ft Pierce via Melbourne and this establishment came HIGHLY recommended. We all shared the ābada boom, bada bing shrimpā! Donāt let the fact that it might say spicy fool ya!! I dont usually care for hot spicy foods but this dish is perfectly balanced! The texture is otherworldly! Shrimp is so easy to overcook yet they manage to prepare them with a nice lightly breaded crunch on the outside and nice and tender inside. My recommendation: DONT SHARE. Get your own because youll wanna gobble them all up yourself! ššš. We also shared a brussels sprouts appetizer that was also out of this world, With Yet again, a perfectly balanced, not too tangy Balsamic vinegar dressing with fried onions, I fought for the crunchy half burnt onions, they were absolutely delicious! Be a pig, You might want to get this one all yourself too! šš , I had the Philly cheesesteak served with perfect fries and it was delicious! All three of my friends I was with had nothing but praise. I wish we had one closer to Melbourne, However, I will make this a regular stop whenever Iām in Fort Pierce! Finally.. You are supporting a local business and not a corporate chain! And you canāt beat that!...
