While I was in Denver, I decided to search for a local butcher for Marrow bones for our dogs.. I came across this businesses and decided to look at their website.. Their website mentioned Venison & Elk which peaked my interest so Decided to check them out.. They’re popular as there where a few ppl in the store and more coming in. When you step into their shop, it reminds you of one you see in TV shows.. For me, I felt like I was in a candy shop. We picked up some various Brats, One having Elk in it.. We found really great size marrow bones.. one thing to add that I love bout this butcher shop that this is the only shop I’ve found so far to do this (not saying other shops don’t do this but I’ve yet to come across them) they have (I would say gallon size bags however, I’m just eye balling it) dollar coin size marrow bones for small dogs and puppies so they don’t get left out! The price for marrow bones where fantastic!! The bones for the bigger dogs aren’t a small dinky size.. They have them in a freezer in separate bags so you get to be in charge of the size. The ones for the smaller dogs and puppies are in the same deep freezer but separated. They also sell Venison and Elk bites for your Pets (not for human consumption) at a really reasonable price.. All the ingredients (very few) are listed on the label.. so not only can you enjoy Venison & Elk but your pets (dogs) can too! They also sell potato salad, macaroni salad, salsa and various cheeses. They also sell thin cuts of veal which is hard to find.. They’ve oodles of other stuff and if you love meat & grillin, this is the place for you!! The brats were fantastic!! Mouthwatering!! Full of flavour!! This butcher shop is definitely worth going back to over & over! The amount of stuff I bought and what I bought, I was shocked at how much it came to!! Definitely, in a very good way!! I didn’t spend nearly as much as I thought I had. The staff (I’m pretty positive it’s family owned butcher) where fantastic!! They where always there to help if you had...

I LOVE this business. Not just the delicious, local and global sourced products, but also the experience and people. Every month, my trip (30 minute drive) is one of the best parts of my day. I love exploring new products in a welcome environment and making new foods. Your team is generally interested in how my pets are doing and remember me and what I buy every time I walk through the door. I've been a loyal customer once a month for almost 2 years. Every person that works at this store makes me feel welcome and part of the family (which is awesome as a locally-run family business). As someone who was never exposed to many of the types of products you sell, your team/family always make me feel extremely welcome, explaining the different cuts and even in the past making a specific food blend for my dog. They are always willing to make me a specific cut and they meticulously package each product for how I will store it (fridge or freezer, in which size packs I want). I tell all my friends and colleagues about the business. I buy all my meats, breads, sides, and even deli cuts and cheeses at Gourmet. I don't know you personally (the owner), but you have created one of the best customer experience teams I have seen, which I really value as a business owner myself. You have built a fantastic family-run business.
HOWEVER!!! We LOVE your people and many of us want to tip them for the experience and customer service they provide (best in the business!). Can you please add the ability to tip in the POS system for customers who would like to tip? There is a tip jar, but I don't carry cash. I'd really love to show my true appreciation to the folks that they make my butcher shop trips not just about buying groceries but about discovering new foods and making me...

I arrived. I was greeted the manager, shook my hand and thanked me for coming in, followed by this really wonderful lady who showed me around the shop and showed me everything about the meat cases, the pies everything that they had. I was pretty blown away, I wish I didn’t live so far away because I would’ve bought a lot more. By the way, I only picked up a dip which was pretty incredible and I also picked up some Italian sausage that had the perfect flavor to it. Just a little spice and perfection, highly suggest trying it!
I will be coming back with a cooler, because this is a place that deserves business they are the exception to what we have left in this world as mom and Pop stores.
Try it, prove me wrong, but these people have a great business and they love...
