BUYER BEWARE LANCASTER, PA!! Sales tactics at their worst. THESE GUYS WORK ON COMMISSIONS, remember that. This specific instance involves an employee from the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, location named Kaiden. They will follow you around the store constantly trying to sell you. I came in searching for a sectional and after batting them away, I found one I really liked. I was given quotes that reflected the āposter priceā. The sectional was too big so i then needed to go home and get measurements to see what would fit. The sales guys ask you very specific details about when you need it by, amongst other things ā keep this part in mind. We finally figured out dimensions and thatās when it began. The salesman told me thereās been a āmistakeā on their pricing worksheet, and the price really should be $500 more than advertised $2,500 to then $3,000). He then told me they would honor the price that I was quoted for the poster price minus the subtraction of one of the pieces to fit the room (now $2,000). This is where it gets bad. He then went to draw up the final paperwork, but, of course, then came back and told me there had been ANOTHER mistake on the paperwork, and the price was back up to the poster price ($2,500)? So you hike the price, tell customers they will honor it back down by almost $1,000, then come back and try and last minute spike the price back up to the poster price for one lesser piece? Give me a break. CLASSIC SALES TACTIC. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. I told them I disrespected the way they did business and he immediately tried to backpedal and say this was the first time heās ever seen that etc etc. I work in sales so Iām familiar with some of these tactics. First, when we went into Bobās for the first time we were so impressed with the sheer size and selection. We were greeted by multiple friendly sales members but never once felt like we were being pressured into anything. They followed up and made some recommendations based on what we were looking for. We ended up working with Jeremy Ables and he was fantastic!! He helped measure multiple sectionals to ensure they would fit down our basement steps and showed us all the options for the model we picked. He was responsive via text when we had questions before the purchase and made the whole process so smooth. He was very personable and kind. Since our couch has arrived today, Iām very pleased with the quality given the affordable price for a 3 piece sectional. Not to mention the delivery team who were fantastic. We opted for the āwhite glove serviceā where they brought the items into our basement and assembled them. They were so cautious around corners and navigating the pieces down the steps. They even wore booties on their shoes to ensure my floors stayed clean. Everything was put together and cleaned up and they had a whole checklist to make sure I was satisfied. They came exactly in the window they stated they would be there and were very kind. Overall, I would highly recommend Bobās to anyone who is looking for furniture. Excellent service which is not easy to find these days. I also would like to mention that it may seem like such a small thing, but they offer free snacks and ice cream in store. It kept our kids very content while we shopped and now they keep asking to go back even though we donāt have any more...

My husband and I have heard from many different family and friends that Bobās was not an ideal place to shop, for many different reasons. We decided to give it a try anyway and hoped that we would have a positive experience. My husband and I specifically had issues with delivery. Mind you, we ordered a dining room table in APRIL and we just got it today 8/26/21. So, donāt expect anything quick from this store. We were told that the delivery would be from 1-4p today so my husband and I made arrangements with work to be home. We also purchased the āwhite gloveā delivery which means itās delivered to our room, unpacked, assembled and trash taken with them. They called my husband at 11:50 am saying that they were in our driveway, clearly not within the 1-4 range that we were told. They unloaded all of our boxes on our back porch and left, completely disregarding the āunpacking and assembling partā of what we purchased. I called Bobās to express my frustration and all they reimbursed us for was the $30 difference in delivery method. My husband now has to assemble the dining room table himself because they would not send anyone out until 5 days from now to assemble it. They wouldnāt even consider ensuring someone came out today to assemble it. We are completely appalled at this process and ensured Bobās we will NEVER be shopping at any of their stores again.
