Lancaster Farmers Market — Local services in Lancaster

Just want to take this moment to remind folks that the Lancaster Farmer's Market threatened to call the cops on us for not wearing a mask in an outdoor market and threw us off the property a few years ago. The man with the accent in the front actually told us he did not care if it we were not wearing it for religious or health reasons, no exceptions. Then told us to leave or he would get the cops and have us removed. So if you still shop there or want to sell there just remember that is who you are supporting. I told many folks about the experience and I am sure it cost the vendors a good bit of sales. Hopefully next time the vendors will speak up and not allow stuff like that to happen. It is a real shame because the market is lovely and the vendors are nice. Not sure if the organizers have changed since then, but I think it is important not to forget what they did. I post this now to remind people and will keep telling people my story every time someone talks about the market. If they got rid of those organizers, apologized to the public and assured they would not do this ever again, I would consider changing this review...

We almost drove by this market but decided to make a quick stop. So glad we did! What a quality farmer’s market! The live music on Saturday morning was lovely. Many different varied vendors. This is a great market. A great variety. The bread guy has the best bread and sticky buns. There are vegetables and many artisans with a variety of hand-made goods. There is live music and a great community...
