This Deli is an absolute gem! We stopped in on a motorcycle ride around New England and chose this place because of how highly it was reviewed. "4.9 stars? That's really high. Is it actually that good?"
Oh. Yes. Yes, in fact it is.
The sourdough bread that came with my soup is absolutely heavenly. Like, they may serve this as an appetizer at the Pearly Gates when your time comes. We were told that they grow the grain themselves for the sourdough. And that was just the side of bread that came with a spectacular tomato basil soup.
Now, the menu is small. But we tried 4 of the 5 specialized sandwiches and every person had their eye rolling into their heads in satisfaction. Add on top the earthy Maté drinks they have, a tea made of Maté leaves from THEIR farm in Brazil. I mean. Seriously. That's cool.
As we travel, it's always a toss up of where we stop, where we eat, and what the experience is like. The Yellow Diner deserves all the...
Read moreI thought I had a review out before this, but let me just share up front: this place has a wonderful vibe of rustic country meets peace. The food is delicious and home-style. Well worth the drive and the wait when busy.
Talking food, my favorite dishes are the salmon sandwich and the yogurt parfait. My favorite tea there is the hibiscus lime. Seriously, you have got to try the soup and fresh sourdough bread. It's made with fresh milled spelt.
The people are friendly and love to share about their food, their lifestyle and community. Just ask a question!
I have brought others here, including my family . My own family has sworn this is a must for whenever they visit. I also have a food allergy and never worry here.
It's my favorite place to go and I always leave with a...
Read moreI absolutely love the yellow deli. Their participation in town events while they finished renovations like the old Tyme Christmas and being open for food after the total solar eclipse, show their commitment to our small town and local community. We are so happy they are officially open full time, it was SO worth the wait. Always greeted with a smile and warm welcome, my favorite place to go grab a tea or snack while downtown. Their salads are made with their own grown vegetables and the love that goes into their crops is apparent in every bite. Delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. And the music inside will always have me tapping my foot while hanging out and waiting :) a must have...
