I've been to many Aldi's. Upon returning my cart, I went to the restroom, then a security guard knocked on the door, and really said "we do not allow people to bring backpacks into the restroom I'll let you slide this time." I had entered only for about 30 seconds to wash my hands. There was no sign saying no bags allowed and no one let me know in advance. What bothered me was how rudely I was approached ... like I was a thief! I'm a 60 year old school teacher and very mild-mannered, but I will never forget being rudely talked to by a 20-year-old security guard, like I was like I was a child and a criminal. I had no way of knowing that I could not wear my backpack in the restroom. I understand that security measures need to be taken but they need to be clearly spelled out. It bothered me so much that after shopping in another store, I went back to speak with the manager, who was not available at the time. This is not acceptable!!! I even thought about taking the $185 worth of groceries back and getting a full refund...
Read moreNovember 2020: Thank you for bringing back Mexican avocados!!
September 2020: I think they recently switched avocado importing from Mexico to Peru. I bought 6-7 avocados each week, the past 3 times they were completely junk. They stayed hard for a long time, when they did become soft, they all turned out like this: Brown at the top, a thin soft outer layer that is edible, then rest inside stay hard rock. I tossed most of them out. Very disappointed.
9 months ago: Impressed @ first visit. $4.49 for a lb. of organic mix green, $.69 for Hass avocado, $1.69 for honey roasted peanuts. What a deal! I opened the mix green salad box today (4 days after purchase) it is as fresh as it can be, even fresher than the stuff I usually got at Costco for $4.99. And for $.69 a avocado? Who doesn’t love that price. I will keep coming back here for more good finds here. Very happy that I...
Read moreGreat prices for groceries without giving up higher quality on items! My food bill is cut in half, or maybe more by purchasing here instead of competitors like Shoppers, Giant or Safeway. Most products by Aldi are of high quality and comparable to name brands, they even taste exactly the same. For example I buy their cereals that look and take like cheerios and cinnamon crunch and they would not be identified in a taste test. They are not like other cheep nock off brands and most feature all natural ingredients. They specialize in offering healthy products for less. I feed my growing family of six by shopping here without breaking my wallet. This should be impossible at most other markets. The produce is always fresh. Most employees are very friendly . This location seem well managed. My only hope is they maintain their low prices and don't start to increase them as they...
